20 QUESTIONS WITH Mickey Of Miami
1. Where do you see ghost hunting and Paranormal groups, web sites
or Ghost information, tours, Books Paranormal Radio and Television
in 10 years?
My insight tells me the interest in the world of the paranormal
waxes and wanes over all the centuries. This latest trend to the search
for real ghosts and proof of an afterlife will never die. I surely
expect this latest interest to last yet another 30 - 50 years.
2. What would you personally consider to be the definitive proof
that ghosts are real?
I’ve seen real Ghosts. Been touched by them and communicate
with them often. But they seek me out, I don't go looking for them.
I am Clairaudience or "Clear Hearing", it is usually defined
as the ability to hear the voices or thoughts of spirits.
Some Mediums hear as though they are listening to a person talking
to them on the outside of their head, as though the Spirit is next
to or near to the Medium, and other Mediums hear the voices in their
minds as a verbal thought. I also possess Clairvoyance or "Clear
Seeing", the ability to see anything which is not physically
present, such as objects, animals or people. This sight occurs "in
the mind’s eye", and some mediums say that this is their
normal vision state. Others say that they must train their minds with
such practices as meditation in order to achieve this ability, and
that assistance from spiritual helpers is often necessary.
Some clairvoyant mediums can see a spirit as though the spirit has
a physical body. They see the bodily form as if it were physically
present. Other mediums see the spirit in their mind's eye, or it appears
as a movie or a television program or a still picture like a photograph
in their mind.
3. What is the most real evidence you personally have uncovered so
far?
I have many photos of everything from Haunted Mardi Gras Parades
to phone calls from the dead on my answering machine. I in truth am
a true believer in the afterlife. And I believe the things I have
experienced are true evidence that ghosts do exist if only to me alone.
4. Are you skeptical of the claims others make of their findings?
I am a psychic but in truth I’m a skeptic at heart. I need
to prove things to myself if someone brings me something to real to
be true I investigate it until I find the answers.
5. If you could investigate your "Dream Haunted Hot Spot"
where would it be?
Already been there... Haunted New Orleans of course and I go there
as often as I can to search out more. I love the city and since Hurricane
Katrina I think the ghosts are more restless and even more out to
contact the living. this to me is the most haunted place in the world.
6. What was your first Paranormal encounter?
1970's I had a profound experience I had several visions of what
the future would hold for myself and all those around me. And yes
it was part of a great cleansing moment in my life. I saw places people
and things. The visions are revelations I had were real not like a
dream.
7. What scares you about Ghost Hunting or Paranormal Investigations?
People who don't know what they are doing scares me the most, and
those that use ouija boards or their kids on ghost hunts.
8. If you could work side by side with one of the Paranormal Investigator
greats, who would it be?
Sybil Leek, Hans Holzer, Dash Beardsley of Ghost tours of Galveston,
Mark Nesbitt's Ghost of Gettusburg and Brian Harnois from TAPS. I'd
love to investigate with Brian Harnois, I can see his future as a
ghost hunter is very strong and he will be a real great as a Director,
PR Manager, and Paranormal investigator in the near future.
Also Voxx Voltair, Derek Acorah, Sylvia Browne, Kuda Bux, Edgar
Cayce, Jeane Dixon, Allison DuBois, John Edward, Daniel Dunglas Home,
Esther Hicks, Colin Fry, JZ Knight, Joseph Kony, Jane Roberts, Sathya
Sai Baba, David Wells, Lisa Williams, James Van Praagh, Rosemary Altea,
Rev. Lauren Kelley, Divaldo Pereira Franco, Felix Lerma Myles Balfe,
and Chico Xavier. And the great Harry Houdini who as we all know was
a famous magician who became a debunker of mediums later in life and,
indeed, even in death, because he left a ten-word passphrase with
his wife that a medium should say in order to prove they were channeling
him.

9. Read any good Paranormal Books lately?
Mark Nesbitt's Ghost of Gettysburg series. I can't get enough. I
love his writing style and I think he is one of the best up and coming
Paranormal investigators in the country today.
10. What Question do people ask you most when you tell them you’re
a Psychic, paranormal investigator, or Personality?
First they run. And when they finally come to their senses then
they ask ..." Have I ever seen a real ghost," or ask me"
What do you see for me."
11. In your opinion, where is the most Haunted city in America?
New Orleans and Galveston tie. Second Miami, Florida of course.
Third Gettysburg.
12. Do you feel more people should get involved with Ghost hunting
or Paranormal Investigation?
I believe that professional scientists should get more involved in
paranormal investigation and less weekend Ghost hunters. The thing
I hate about Taps is they make it look like you can hunt real ghosts
in a few hours. Some ghost hunts take weeks are months.
13. What does the future hold for you?
Living my life and dealing with the paranormal world as always. I
plan to do more investigations when I travel to Europe this year.
14. Paranormal Conventions do you see them growing?
Definite yes I am big on Paranormal conventions. I go to several
each year and will attend as many as humanly possible.
15. What is your favorite Miami Florida ghost story?
Three bellman from the old Doral Hotel were all haunted one night
by the same ghosts of a guest that killed herself. they all were on
break in the break room. the light kept clicking itself off they had
to turn on the switch 6 times in a row. During this ordeal they saw
her plain as day covered in blood face to face.

16. Tell us about your best moment in a paranormal investigation?
Making contact with the ghosts themselves. I love first contact...
they touch me or talk to me. It's truly amazing, every time feels
like the first time because every ghost is different. I am very clariaudent
sometimes I hear them coming first.
17. What is the hardest part about being a psychic?
Seeing things for those I read for and not knowing how to tell them
so they don't wreck their lives. As a spiritual reader I see a lot
and how things will progresses. Sometimes if you tell a person what
is to come they will do everything to just short of jumping through
hoops to find out how to make it happen with out letting things happen
in the way it should. Many just need to let life happen not push it
to the excess.

18. How did you document your investigations?
I’m a Psychic, not just a paranormal medium investigator,
so I travel equipped with an open mind and tape recorder.
19. Have you ever taken a ghost Tour? And, What about it did you
not like?
Yes, I’ve taken very many around the world. I hate when the
tour guide sounds like a broken record and when you stop them they
can start right where they left off... To scripted. No enthusiasm
no drama. And the fast talking haunted tour guides with thick accents
who run thriough the tour so they can get another tour done and over
with.
20. What in the field of ghost hunting and Paranormal Investigating
needs the most attention?
These ghost meetup groups and weekend Ghost Hunters need to find
a level of professionalism.
