20 Questions Yvonne Brown
1. Where do you see ghost hunting and Paranormal groups, web sites
or Ghost information, tours Books in 10 years?
I really feel the world is changing day by day, today more people
are believing in ghosts and paranormal creatures. Soon UFO's and Big
foot will be generally accepted by the public. But I feel that the
search for ghosts is a private thing an d in many ways some find it
brings big change into their lives. I think more people will believe
in ghosts but they will leave ghost hunting to those of us that it
is a calling to. not a profession.
2. What would you personally consider to be the definitive proof that
ghosts are real?
I smell ghosts and people snap a picture and their is something anomalous
in it. I have found places where ghost haunt. I think I've been called
a human ghost hound. At least that's what a few paranormal investigators
have told me.
Brown reacts to the presence of a ghost in the photo below on a recent
ghost hunt in Little Havana.
The particular ghost haunts a business and is very foul she states
his smell makes me gag when near. To describe it I would have to say
it smells like the foulest dump and has a damp moldy aroma. Brown
went along with several other Miami local Ghost Hunters to the location
and when ever she smelled him, other instruments like EMF detectors
and digital recorders photos showed his presence.

3. What is the most real evidence you personally have uncovered so
far?
Every thing to me is what I personally smell I don't know how to
prove anything other then what my brain tells me. But I have pointed
out several hot spots where ghosts seem to haunt. and I can actually
follow one as it haunts a location.
4. Are you skeptical of the claims other make of their findings?
Most of the time yes and certainly I wonder if I can believe my own
nose. Or can they?
5. If you could investigate your "Dream Haunted Hot Spot"
where would it be?
Gettysburg, New Orleans And Galveston Texas. All three is what I plan
in the future. I now live in Miami and am enjoying the Cuban ghost
scene.

6. What was your first Paranormal encounter?
I was really spooked out in Marshall, Texas. A particular ghosts haunted
the local Lowe's of Marshall store. I could smell him he was a real
stinker. He walked the plumbing area and I think he left ghostly fecal
matter in the displays. I smelt fecal matter and cheap whiskey that
day and it followed me out of the store into my car.
7. What scares you about Ghost Hunting or Paranormal Investigations?
Nothing scares me personally about ghosts I would hate to be around
really haunted people 24/7. They have too many ghostly smells around
them. I cannot be around the many people that hunt for ghosts . If
I stayed around somone like the great American Necromancer like Lisa
Lee Harp I think I would go insane with all the ghosts that come in
and out of her home.
8. If you could work side by side with one of the Paranormal Investigator
greats, who would it be?
Well I have hunted for real ghost with Gina Lanier, Mickey of Miami,
Lisa Lee Harp Waugh and, many other in the field today. I would have
to say The Great Jeff Belanger or Chris Flemming or Yvette Fielding
would be my top coices, or Troy Taylor.
9. Read any good Paranormal Books lately other then your own?
“Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits and Haunted Places” by
author Brad Steiger. And anything and everything I can get my hands
on bythe greats Hans Holzer Troy Taylor and Mark Nesbitt. I also am
a subsciber to many paranormal publications from around the world.
10. What Question do people ask you most when you tell them your a
paranormal investigator?
Are ghosts real? Then I tell them I can only smell ghosts and they
ask me to smell and see if any ghosts are near.
11. In your opinion, Where is the most Haunted city in America?
Right now I would have to say haunted by what? I think the smelliest
ghosts live in or rather haunt Longview, Marshall, And Denton, Texas.
Miami Ghosts smell exotic, and Mississippi ghosts smell like dirty
hair and pecan pie. But the most haunted city I have ever smelt was
Galveston , Texas. I took Dash Beardsleys Ghost tour and was amazed
at the many strange odors I picked up along the two hour walk.
12. Do you feel more people should get involved with Ghost hunting
or Paranormal Investigation?
People should get involved with ghost hunting only but it should be
their calling not there interest in just being scared or goofing off
because they are bored!
13. What does the future hold for you?
The future holds many things for me from hunting ghosts and learning
to control how and well I smell them. I am constantly running across
ghosts so much that I have to plug my nose at night to sleep, or put
a strong perfume or cologne under my nose just to not smell them.
Some ghosts smell very nasty.
14. Paranormal Conventions do you see them growing? And which ones
are the Must go to ones?
Ghost World Conference in Gettysburg was my favorite. I think if
more big names Like Troy Taylor, Mark Nesbitt, And Jason And Grant
from Ghost Hunters got togetherr then that would be the ones to go
to. I think they will all come together in about 2-3 years.
15. What is your most favored tool of the trade?
My nose knows! It is all I have and all I use to smell out where
some ghosts are hiding.

The
real face of Miami man's ghost who died in his car from the heat of
heart failure. His Ghost sits in his car smiling. Or is this a case
of pareidolia? Photo sent to us by Paranormal Investigator Yvonne
Brown. Brown was released into the parking lot by an investigation
team and told only to find the haunted car which she did by smelling
the ghosts location. Read more about it here now: Click

16. Tell us about your best moment in paranormal investigating?
Well, usually when the ghosts goes away and I can plug up my nose
with a small cloth dipped in my favorite perfume. Lisa Lee Harp Waugh
sends me special soaps she makes and spiritual candles which block
out the odors of ghost in my home. She also makes me a special oil
and ships me some every 2 months her in Miami.
17. What is the hardest part about being a paranormal investigator
or Ghost Hunter?
Well the fact that the world is so haunted and people don't realize
there is a ghost ion every door step at least 20- 50 at any given
time. I think some ghosts form gangs. I hate when a group of them
converge on me in public the smells have even caused me to pass out.

Lisa Lee Harp Waugh's ("The Great American Ghost Hunter")
special candles help Brown over come the stench of hunting for real
ghosts. Brown gets a fresh shipment from her each month to help her
psychically cleanse her nostrils.
18. How do you document your investigations?
I just smell ghosts chase them around and others document me.
19. Have you ever taken a ghost Tour? And, What about it did you not
like?
Many ghost tours over the years have had my attention. But I can't
go on any sadly to me they all stink. But I mean that in a good way.
To me it means they are haunted and not a joke.
20. What in the field of ghost hunting and Paranormal Investigating
needs the most attention.
Training is needed. to many people mimic Sci-fi's Ghost Hunters. Not
that the show is bad. I love it . but because they show a side of
ghost hunting that is for the novice but people don't see all the
time and effort that really goes on.
