I
have heard of scorned lovers giving
wedding gifts that they have cursed
or had cursed placed on them. I have
also heard of people selling cursed
items on ebay. People do believe in
family Cursed Heirloom jewelry. I personally
know of a simple in expensive necklace
that all four daughters and their 6
daughters all worn and each ended up
a widow. Also everyone knows especially
large diamonds are cursed passed down
through the generations. The
Hope diamond, The
Black Orlov
are their stories true?
Many say whether you believe a curse
or know that something
is cursed for certain one should still
beware of what they purchase or bring
into their lives. There is as fine line
investigators of the paranormal say
between cursed and haunted. The same
quarry could be implied for possessed
objects such as real Voodoo
Dolls and
Zombie Spirit
Bottles.
Are these
objects cursed or haunted? That's what
many leading paranormal experts and
investigators are trying to discover.
Do these many haunted items possess
some evil strange power or energy that
can be measured and justly documented.
Are they intelligently motivated hauntings?
The haunted possession of an object
is further stigmatized by ones own beliefs
and personal experiences. And the act
of qualifying such as to what terms
it should be categorized as is up to
ones own subjection.
James
Dean's car curse
In September 1955, James Dean was killed
in a horrific car accident whilst he
was driving his Porsche sports car.
After the crash the car was seen as
very unlucky.
When
the car was towed away from accident
scene and taken to a garage, the engine
slipped out and fell onto a mechanic,
shattering both of his legs.
Eventually
the engine was bought by a doctor, who
put it into his racing car and was killed
shortly afterwards, during a race. Another
racing driver, in the same race, was
killed in his car, which had James Dean's
driveshaft fitted to it.
When
James Dean's Porsche was later repaired,
the garage it was in was destroyed by
fire.
Later
the car was displayed in Sacramento,
but it fell off it's mount and broke
a teenagers hip.
In Oregon,
the trailer that the car was mounted
on slipped from it's towbar and smashed
through the front of a shop.
Finally,
in 1959, the car mysteriously broke
into 11 pieces while it was sitting
on steel supports.
Cursed
objects are nothing new now a days,
from James Dean's Cursed 1955 Porsche
Spyder to The Cursed objects of King
Tut's Tomb. A curse is the effective
action of supernatural power, distinguished
solely by the quality of adversity that
it brings, else it would be considered
a "charm" or a "blessing."
A curse may also be said to result
from a spell or prayer, imprecation
or execration, or other imposition
by magic or witchcraft, asking that
a god, natural force, or spirit bring
misfortune to someone.
The
forms of curses found in various cultures
comprise a significant proportion
of the study of both folk religion
and folklore. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Curse
A book
curse was the most widely-employed and
effective method of discouraging the
thievery of manuscripts during the medieval
period. It was one of these laws that
copyright laws and penalties from plagiarism
have descended from. Many of these curses
vowed that harsh repercussions, often
to do with religion, would be inflicted
on anyone who appropriated the work
from its proper owner. One example from
a book in the monastery of San Pedro
in Barcelona reads as follows:
For him that stealeth,
or borroweth and returneth not, this
book from its owner, let it change into
a serpent in his hand and rend him.
Let him be struck with palsy, and all
his members blasted. Let him languish
in pain crying out for mercy, &
let there be no surcease to his agony
till he sing in dissolution. Let bookworms
gnaw his entrails ... when at last he
goeth to his final punishment, let the
flames of Hell consume him forever.
Most curses were scribed
in the script's colophon.
The Book of the Sacred
Magic of Abramelin the Mage, edited
by S. Liddell MacGregor Mathers was
said to be cursed. Those who had a copy
of it in their possession are still
to this day said to be haunted and hurt
by it's power. This interesting grimoire
was published by S.L. Mathers in 1898,
and a second edition was published in
1900 by J.M. Watkins, London. Aleister
Crowley also considered it of great
importance and underwent the operation
described within and often noted to
others that the copy he owned was haunted
by the spirits it told of. Hence he
deemed the books printed at the time
possessed by an unseen power.

The Lesser Key Of
Solomon or The Goetia the Lesser Key
of Solomon the King: Lemegeton, Book
1 Clavicula Salomonis Regis was also
said to doom those who just kept a copy
on their bookshelf. Many said their
life got better just by burning or giving
the book away. Some say if a person
was having a run bad luck the bookshelves
would be search first, and if any suspect
haunted or cursed volumes were discovered
they would be removed and properly disposed
of and the curse would be broken.
During the 1970's
a haunted story tells that well known
paranormal investigator became aware
of such cursed volumes and set out to
prove it was not true. The story goes
that he changed his mind very quickly
when one of the cursed books supposedly
attacked him sending him to the hospital.
The
Cursed Ring
A friend of mine bought
a ring from another friend in the late1980's
as a gift for his wife as their wedding
ring. The large ring was in horrible
shape and a large garnet was missing.
He only paid $100.00 dollars for it
he brought it to a jeweler to see if
they could repair it and have it appraised.
To his surprise the ring was valued
at $3,000 dollars at the time even in
the state of disrepair. He went back
to the friend and told them this. The
friend told him it was her wedding ring
and her husband had bought it for her
for the same amount in the 1960's and
she said she did not want it because
he died and when he did she smashed
the ring to the present state it was
in, fearing it was cursed and caused
his death.

She also told him
that that was exactly what he was told
from the person he bought it from and
it was in similar smashed condition
when he purchased it originally. With
the same story that a man had bought
it and his wife had died three years
after the wedding. And the same with
the previous widow whose husband had
died three years after the wedding.
Isall this true? I can personally verify
the two deaths associated with the ring
being in those people possession. but
not the previous before the woman he
purchased it from.
The actual ring is
said to be well over 200-300 years old
or more. The setting of the diamonds
and garnets dates it to the early 1700's.
Many have tried it on and felt a strange
feeling. It's beauty is captivating
and mysterious. But is it really cursed?
It is for sale... do you really want
to buy it and find out for your self?
Not believing in curses
the couple had it repaired and within
3 years of buying it the wife was dead.
Coincidence? Cursed? My friend still
has the ring he did not smash it and
this happened over 15 years ago. He
does not know whether to keep it, sell
it or throw it away. For the right price
he said he may part with it. But would
of course tell the new owner his tragic
haunted ring story.

On 3/8/06 I woke up at 5:40 am, and

YOU DON'T TRY THIS AT ALL!

I am
not sure how many of you out there have
heard the many stories of possessed
, cursed or haunted Ouija boards. And
that if you burn a Ouiji Board you will
hear horrible screams and you will die
shortly there after. Some say it's an
urban legend, others swear it's true.

I
have had one paranormal Ouija® Parker
Brothers INC. of Salem, Mass., USA experience,
and one with my own handmade board that
I will too soon never forget!
October
of 2005 I went to the local Toys R'
Us. I was there just enjoying myself
looking around, and then I came to the
game section and saw the Mystifying
Oracle Ouija board game made popular
by William Fuld stacked neatly on the
shelf. Personally I didn't at the time
know much about them, but I just knew
it was supposed to be only just a game
and nothing more. I read the box, the
price was right so then I went and purchased
it.

I've watched my Ouija
session more than 100 times at home
from my dvd recorder! You could hear
eerie sounds when the tape counter reaches
00:06 to 00:19 & 4:29 to 4:35 &
( 22:24 spirits screaming out ) &
( 23:35 to 23:38 spirits screaming out
) & 23:41 to 23:45 Most eerie sounds
are low and some are louder than others!
You have to listen carefully! You have
to use headphones and increase the bass
to really hear them! Those eerie sounds
that you hear were from the spirit world!!!!
Haunted
Cursed I Dream of Jeannie Bottle
In 1964 I Dream of
Jeanie was a popular American sitcom
with a fantasy premise. Produced by
Screen Gems, it aired from 1965 to 1970
on NBC. The show starred Barbara Eden
as Jeanie and Larry Hagman as Captain
(later Major) Anthony Nelson.

My Jeannie bottle
is painted differently from the actual
Golden Vines design from the first season.
In apperence it's almost a negative
version of the original. I think thats
what attracted me to it because I felt
I wanted a one of a kind bottle. The
ad even said pop the the cork you never
know what's hiding inside, and they
were right.
I've read about spirit
bottles, and New
Orleans real Zombie Bottles
and I think thats just what I have here.
I really don't know if the artist who
painted it knew it was haunted or made
the bottle haunted. After buying the
bottle the person just disappeared off
of ebay never to be found again.

The
Ring Cursed Videotape
The Ring Cursed Videotape
is an item in the Ring cycle series
of books and films. Seemingly a normal
home-recorded videotape, the tape carries
a curse that will kill anyone who watches
it, within seven days. In the earlier
Japanese films, it is explained as a
traditional curse, though given a far
greater explanation in later films and
in the novels. The American and Korean
versions largely follow that of the
earlier Japanese explanations. The parody
of the video used Scary Movie 3 is mostly
based on the American version.
The "cursed video
tape" plot device was initially
used by Christopher Fowler in his 1990
novel Rune, and may have had its origins
in an urban legend that sprang up during
public concern over "video nasties"
during the late 1980s.
In the original Japanese
series, the tape is initially created
by Sadako Yamamura. In the later Korean
and American remakes, the tapes are
created by Park Eun-Suh and Samara Morgan,
respectively. The creator of the video
in Scary Movie 3 is referred to only
as Tabitha.
Robert
The Doll
Some say he the Key
West Doll is possessed. The reports
show a sign of intelligence in his actions
as compared to a repetitive action of
a dooming curse.

Haunted
dolls are anything but pleasant company!
Especially Robert The Haunted Doll!
There
is probably no one reading this who
has not had a disturbing experience
at one time or another involving that
most simple and supposedly benign object,
a child’s doll. Many believe the
doll was cursed. Others say Robert The
Doll it is possessed by an evil spirit.
Ask
around at any party where the conversation
turns to the supernatural and someone
will inevitably pipe up with a creepy
story about an encounter with a doll
that seemed to have a life and will
all its own. Invariably, the doll was
the object of fear and loathing in someone’s
home until the children were old enough
to abandon such things. If they were
lucky, the doll was given away –
maybe it was passed on to some unfortunate
cousin; if they weren’t so lucky,
the doll was relegated to storage in
the labyrinthine darkness of the attic
where it often became to object of even
more terror.

CURSED
BY THE DEVILS' CURSE
Cursed
by the devil. Many Americans believe
that serious forces are working against
them? Do You?
Touched
by evil, or just cursed by Satan? Many
now a days believe that great demonic
forces are at work mocking them every
step of the way.
From
Tarot Card Readers on Jackson Square
in New Orleans to Mediums with crystal
balls in New York store fronts, palmist
and psychics and tea leave readers and
coffee ground seers in California, perhaps
on the phone or internet... How many
people have heard they are cursed by
an enemy or from some wrong they have
committed, or from just being in the
wrong place at the wrong time. Should
we believe it? Or should we move on
and live our life untouched by the believing
in the malediction we are rendered.
