| People really
love their cats and their
cats seem to love them from
even beyond the reality of
the grave. Ghost Photographs
of long dead pets seem to
happen often to some of you.
Then their are those of you
that actually see and feel
their dead cats returning
to them on a regular basis.
I personally did not believe
this until happened to me
in 1978.
I was awakened in my bed
one nigh at 3:AM recently
all of a sudden, I woke up
and could not move. It was
not sleep Paralysis it was
that I felt my cat asleep
on my chest as usual. But
Bandit my Siamese 12 year
old cat died about 3 months
earlier. This kept happening
to me repeatedly for a few
days and then it started happening
when I was awake before bed.
I knew I had to research this
ghostly phenomena because
I really wanted to see if
I was going nuts or pining
for Bandit more then what
a rational person should.
Or was it just my imagination
playing wishful tricks on
me.
Are you
being visited by a departed
Cat?
So I started contacting
local paranormal people, psychics,
witches and those that dabble
e in supernatural occurrences.
I even got books and wrote
to people like Hans Holzer
and Sybil Leek. She was a
English witch, astrologer,
psychic, and occult author.
She wrote me back and said
yes your cat is haunting you
and to accept it. Throughout
recorded history people have
reported the presence of animal
ghosts.
Also I talked to friends
and family to see what I could
learn first hand. Many people
tell that when they are in
bed they are often woken up
and feel like they feel their
dead cats crawling in bed,
just like they used to do
when they were alive. This
was the main answer that I
ascertained. At first, I felt
really comforted, because
I missed him. But I needed
to find out more. And this
is how I became a top notch
Paranormal Investigator before
hunting ghost was the new
fad of the 21st century.

So like all good paranormal
sleuths I started a large
collection the stories others
told me about their dead cats
coming back to visit them.
First I was told by a friend
how they used to see shadows
of her dead cat out of the
corner their eye, like a cat
jumping on a counter or crossing
into another room. Or running
under beds and often curled
up in a ghost sleep in their
favorite spot.
The more I probed the more
often I heard stories of dead
cats ghosts returning from
people of all walks of life.
I even had a psychic come
into my home and ask me about
my cat years later. She even
described as she saw clearly
and she said he was sitting
in the window when she arrived.
I was taken back a bit. But
I knew I was on to something
otherworldly.
Dead Cat
Tales
Today many people on the
internet write in blogs and
post on haunted web sites
their many stories of ghosts
cats returning to them. Even
on Coast To Coast AM with
George Norry cat ghost Pictures
turn up often.
The ghost of the dead can
also be that of even large
jungle cats I have told by
a large cat Zoo Keeper that
I met while on a haunted investigation
recently. He told me that
a Tiger that was at the zoo
died, and in the year that
followed many saw the tigers
ghosts still in the enclosure.
This really rattled a lot
of the employee to the point
that they just quit.
I have also investigated
homes and have seen black
blurs of cats or white and
asked the haunted home owners
did they have a cat. The reply
is yes and it died recently.
The home owners would say
they had not seen the dead
cats ghosts or wouldn't hear
or see anything strange. But
they would tell me about such
issues of small objects disappearing
or moving. And more then often
I assumed the haunting in
their home was their dead
cat trying to let them know
they were present and actually
still annoying them.
Hemingway home and museum
is often reported to be haunted
by his strand dead cats. Nearly
50 or more so live cats continue
roaming the grounds to this
day. So it's often hard to
tell if people are seeing
ghost or real cats. The cats
descend from a cat named "Snowball"
given to the novelist in 1935
and freely wander the grounds
of the Spanish colonial house.
All the cats carry the gene
for six toes, but not all
show the trait.
The home is where the Nobel
prize-winning author wrote
"For Whom the Bell Tolls"
and "To Have and Have
Not" and is one of the
most popular visitor attractions
in the Florida Keys.
Legend of
the Demon Cat of Capitol Hill
Most have heard one version
or another of the frightening
legend of the Demon Cat Ghost
of Washington D.C.. They actually
call him D.C. (DC) . The best
known ghost cat story tells
of this strange supernatural
black cat that haunts the
basement of the U.S. Capitol
Building, possibly in the
room known as the Crypt. Other
versions of the story place
the cat in the basement of
the White House,the National
Mall or the Watergate Hotel.
According to Daniel Cohen,
Phantom Animals (A Minstrel
Book, 1991), the building
of the Capitol was begun in
1763. Congress moved in when
it was partially built about
seven years later. There are
tiers of basements and sub-basements
connected by tunnels. The
catafalque, a raised platform
where caskets of those who
are given state funerals,
is stored in the basement
area which is said to be the
home of DC.

In the 1800s, the Capitol
Building was infested with
rats, so cats were brought
in to control the rodents.
They did their job well. Today,
cats are no longer used to
control the rodent population.
The only cat that remains
is the phantom, DC.
According to the legend,
years go by without a sighting
of the Demon Cat, but when
it does appear a national
disaster is likely to occur
within a short period of time.
A creepy detail, of some versions
of the story, warns that while
the Demon Cat may first appear
as a helpless looking kitten,
it grows in size and menace
the closer one moves toward
it.
It has frequently been sighted
before a change in the current
administration. The Demon
Ghost Cat is believed to be
a bad omen of things to come
in the government. When encountered
it is seen most often before
great tragic events occur
in the government. Some often
believe it was seen before
the crash of 1929 which led
to the Great Depression, before
JFK’s assassination
and days before the recent
Bush Administration took office.
Real Ghost
Cat Picture

This is a photo of my cat
Rudy and what i think is the
ghost of his brother Banjo
flying over the bed. Banjo
was put down three months
ago because of serious health
problems. And it seems now
a days more so then often
when ever he is around Rudy
reacts to it. For no reason
his hair stands up and he
gets this wild eyed look,
So I waited until he did and
then snapped this picture.

The Very
Real Signs That A Dead Cat
Is Haunting You!
Feeling the
presence of a Dead Cat
Too often people report
the feeling the cat jump into
their bed. Playing with their
feet as they hang off of a
bed couch or chair. Dead cats
also seem to be felt with
more regularity then dogs
or birds that have crossed
over. Some think it is because
cats are more mystical then
other animals and have a higher
level of ESP.
Seeing the
Dead Cat's Ghost
Often individuals glimpse
their pets briefly out of
the corner of their eye. Shadow
cats or even white glowing
entities in cat form. No matter
what breed or color the live
cat was in life. dead cat
ghost photos are said to occur
often also. Occasionally they
dead cats owner see the cat's
ghost straight on sitting
on their chest while in bed
or on the floor next to them
if only for a few seconds.
Paranormal experts suggest
these images are more likely
to be seen peripherally because
the peripheral vision is more
sensitive and the outer retina
contains more rod cells. But
people swear the thing they
actually see what was their
dead cat. As an example, even
strangers to home will often
ask a dead cats owner. "Oh
I see you have a big fluffy
red cat." only to get
a reply of yes he died a few
years ago.
Hearing the
Dead Cats Ghost
Some people report hearing
ghostly loud meowing for attention.
But how do you pet a ghost
cat? Ghost cat purring can
often be heard also, or the
sound of rustling of a real
cat in the hunt or playing
with something they should
not. But you know their is
no other animal or cat in
the home.
Often animal haunting's are
a one-time or short-term occurrence.
Occasionally people experience
prolonged haunting. Many cultures,
including Native Americans,
Egyptian, and Europeans and
now the 21st century American
public believe that cat spirits
are protectors or guides.
The scariest part about dead
cats is when a person who
has no cat or pet moves in
to a new home and a dead cat's
ghost shows itself or adopts
them as it's new owner. Many
reports I have dealt with
of recent or from people who
tell me they feel the weight
of some un seen animal on
them as they sit at their
computer desk, or try to sleep
at night.
One person I talked to said
she loved the dead cat that
adopted her. Sheba as she
calls it tends to love playing
with things she drops on the
floor. She also loves the
fact that she does not have
to buy cat food or keep a
litter box. She also says
she had mice and roaches but
since the dead cats ghost
moved in her house is now
clean of vermin.
