The
politics of belief surrounding paranormal
ideas often comes under much scrutiny.
Through a detailed examination of
the participants, issues, strategies
and underlying factors that constitute
the contemporary ghost hunting the
long hard paranormal debate continues.
What do we really know of is all that
is strange to us? And does it co-exist
with the real world day to day occurrences.
Paranormal groups, web sites or Ghost
information, tours, Books, Paranormal
Radio and Television have all tried
to make things in the night more believable
and apt to coexist in out world. But
as in centuries past the nay sayers
and those that seek out personal grudges
still exist.

People today often criticize the
subject of real ghost and UFO's in
blogs and guest books. For just as
many that say it is all well and fine
their are just as many that don't
believe what is posted is truth. Some
will debunk anything from making charges
of faked ghost photos to delusions
of the eye of the beholder. Some even
try too become Paranormal Police and
enforce their own laws of truth and
non truth onto those that truly believe.
Not everyone has the same belief
system ticking in their brains. It
seems everyone in the field is joggying
to be the best, either to prove or
disprove the beliefs of others. Many
paranormal groups splinter off and
usually and more often allot of name
calling and debunking tends to occur.
As people in a free country or on
the internet many debunk the truths
of others as trying in some way to
make themselves and others follow
their path of beliefs. Not saying
here who is right or who is wrong
it is just natural for people to take
sides.
Too often I hear of Paranormal Groups
from around the world name calling
other Ghost Tours, Paranormal Meetup
groups and established authors and
investigators fakes or un professional
in their actions. The problem today
is all the name calling and back stabbing
that has been openly posted on the
internet. All focusing on who's the
best or worst, what's fake and in
opposition of anyone or anything that
they deem to be not acceptable to
what is paranormal, and what it means
to them. There are certain groups
that swear by TAPS ... and others
that go out of their way to debunk
them. This of course brings allot
of things into the spotlight. But
these same protagonist don't even
know who Hans Holzer is, or a host
of writers and investigators who have
made great contributions to the field
over the years they have set the protocol
for what they do. And these persons
tend to take what they hear and see
on Television or the internet as Paranormal
Law.
A wide array of skepticism have circulated
for years by which people attempt
to discern the Paranormal writers
and investigators and determine who's
acceptable and who's not. In the broad
sense of the word politics these are
regarded as power relationships, while
in the narrow sense of the word it
means the processes by which groups
of people make decisions based on
who they think is an authority on
the subject. Remember: Everyone is
entitled to an opinion

Political science (also political
studies) is the study of political
behavior and examines the acquisition
and application of power. Related
areas of study include political philosophy,
which seeks a rationale for politics
and an ethic of public behavior, and
public administration, which examines
the practices of governance. As paranormal
is an term used to describe a wide
variety of reported anomalous phenomena.
According to the Journal of Parapsychology,
the term paranormal describes "any
phenomenon that in one or more respects
exceeds the limits of what is deemed
physically possible according to current
scientific assumptions."
Max Weber was a German political
economist and sociologist who is considered
one of the founders of the modern
study of sociology and public administration.
He defined power as the ability to
impose one's will "even in the
face of opposition from others",
while Hannah Arendt a German Jewish
political theorist. She states that
"political power corresponds
to the human ability not just to act
but to act in concert.
The debunking approach is a response
to claims of paranormal phenomena,
and consists of finding a "normal"
explanation instead of paranormal
for the account. The basis for this
approach is that the de bunker feels
that the normal explanation is the
likelier of the two. While the validity
of the existence of paranormal phenomena
is controversial and debated passionately
by both proponents of the paranormal
and by skeptics, surveys are useful
in determining the beliefs of people
in regards to paranormal phenomena.
Blogs and personal opinions on message
boards are healthy too and part of
the scientific process of forming
your own opinions. Before Ghost Hunters
and Most Haunted television shows
Paranormal investigators were always
present. The leading researchers have
been overshadowed by these shows.
And are now often scrutinized for
not living up to those standards.
The same goes for web sites and even
equipment used i the ghost hunting
field.
Paranormal Subjects often come under
the watchful eye of those policing
the Paranormal Zone on the internet.
Often out right poking fun or debunking
someone ideas or beliefs. But all
this is a testing process. Some Paranormal
Enthusiast often become dis believers
or flip flop in their opinions also.
Just like the great debate if Ouija
boards or evil? Or do they really
have any paranormal properties associated
to them?

Investigator who investigates Paranormal
Investigators proof and facts. "
I as a real Ghost Hunter who investigator
the research where others have gone
before." " Ever searching
the real facts behind hauntings and
Paranormal Phenomena and their investigators."

"Just because Ghosts
Hunters say it's haunted is it really
haunted?" Says Frank. "
I personally think every web site
that presents Paranormal evidence
is open to scrutiny."
