Well, you got all your equipment you have studied the best reference of ghost han ted filled web sites. You have read every book you can find and even attended several ghost hunting conferences. You have also formed a group of friends and new acquaintances that openly hunts for real ghosts to document. It might just be that your making "Real Ghost Hunting Mistakes".

But for you to date none of your paranormal investigations have turned up a single spook or spirit that confirms to you personally that ghosts are real.

If you have not realized by now that ghost hunting is a study in the practice of patience. Then you need to go back and start from the basics.

When investigating haunted houses or locations one needs to realize that some ghosts just don't want to be bothered with you in particular. The reasons may vary from the fact that the ghosts does not like you or is not into spooking people out it does not know. Ghosts as living people do have their own convictions wants and reasons to do what they do.

Playing ghost haunted games with invisible entities like hide and seek seems to be the standard of what real ghost hunting entails. And because of this it differs from what real paranormal investigation is actually about.

1. Real Ghosts Don't Like You

The ghosts does not want to deal with you in particular, or is leery of your actions.

Some ghosts need to scope out new people in their territory to see if they are worth haunting. Many ghosts are observers or just paranormal voyeurs into our world. They will often not haunt a person openly until they become familiar with their comings and goings.

But justs as real living beings might dislike a person on first sight, the same applies to the dead.

2. Ghost Games

The ghosts at the location is aware of what your doing and is taunting you by being a no show.

Sometimes evil minded beings or other types of ghostly entities will haunt you by not haunting you. Some call this the ultimate ghost game. As soon as you leave a location the haunted individual will call you back and tell you the ghost did something out of the ordinary.

Many people just believe it is a lie when told of the strange occurrences that happen when you leave the haunted location you just investigated and nothing was documented.

Well in truth the ghost could being doing this to mess with you are the person who claims they are haunted.

3. You Don't Undertsnd Your Ghost hunting Equipment

A solid often stated school of thought is that the actual paranormal equipment we use is or could be faulty.

 

Or as many have conjectured that those that carry around EMF meters and other new equipment just don't know how to use them properly.

 

 

4. Paranormal Stage Fright.

The fact that you are filming or the amount of STRANGE individuals hunting a location causes a ghost to react differently then they normally do. Some liken it to a case of actual ghosts having stage fright. The ghost is afraid to perform or is stunned by the amount of people seeking it out. Or the equipment. Or that you are a stranger to them.

 

Maybe some ghosts just don't want allow themselves to be exploited to youtube. Where others do!

5. Right Place Wrong Time

Some ghosts it is believed as to that of residual haunting's, that a ghost can and will haunt a person or location at a particular time. Such as what many call the haunting hour.

The Significance of 3:AM has become a recent extreme searched term. This is the witching hour and is the supposed time when supernatural creatures such as spirits, vampires, witches, were animals, demons and evil ghosts and ghoulish entities are thought to be at their most powerful, and use of ritual black magic spells and hexes are at its most effective point. Some old tales in the out back refer to it as Ghost dream time. (Not to be confused with Dreamtime.) In Australian Aboriginal mythology, The Dreaming or Altjeringa (also called the Dreamtime) is a sacred 'once upon a time' in which ancestral Totemic Spirit Beings formed The Creation.

This hour is typically in European And Asian Folklore to be the hour of midnight, and the term may now be used to refer to midnight, or any late hour, even without having the associated superstitious beliefs. Australian Witches often will tell you that though many believe that spells for love should be practiced at #am only and should not be practiced at any other then this time of day.

The term "witching hour" or "The Ghost Haunting Hour" or simply "The Ghosts Hour" can also refer to the period from midnight to 3am, while "devils hour" refers to the time around 3am AU. This the satanic inversion of 3 P.M., the hour that is claimed to be when Jesus Christ the Nazarene died on the cross on Golgatha. And in an anti- damnation to God.

In the movie, Paranormal Activity (film), a demon would typically haunt and disturb the couple between midnight to 3am. 3am is usually considered as Devil's Hour. This is because he, (The Devil) is then set free and his power is great for it is the darkest of the night when heavens light is hidden from the world for 1 hour.

According to traditional Japanese beliefs, all humans have a spirit or soul called a 霊魂 (reikon). When a person dies, the reikon leaves the body and enters a form of purgatory, where it waits for the proper funeral and post-funeral rites to be performed, so that it may join its ancestors. If this is done correctly, the reikon is believed to be a protector of the living family and to return yearly in August during the Obon Festival to receive thanks. This is the month of "Hungry Ghosts".

However, if the person dies in a sudden or violent manner such as murder or suicide, if the proper rites have not been performed, or if they are influenced by powerful emotions such as a desire for revenge, love, jealousy, hatred or sorrow, the reikon is thought to transform into a yūrei, which can then bridge the gap back to the physical world.

Many times of the year ghosts might seem stronger in their abilities to haunt the living. Some paranormal researchers believe this, and others just don't.

6. The Fear Of Finality

A recent thought put forth is that many ghosts do not want to be sent to their final rest. Be it heaven or hell a ghost might hide from you because they think or have heard that you have a power over them that they cannot stop or avert.

When individuals or at a haunted location they tend to talk. and they do not realize that real ghosts listen to what your saying. If you just happen to be talking about someone in your group and mention that they have chased away many ghosts then the ghost will pick up on this and definitely hide no matter what you do.

Some ghost it is thought become so leery of this they will actually only haunt individuals that they feel or not capable of holding an unseen power over them.

7. Overly Ghost Hunted Locations

Some ghosts it seems love attention while others really don't. Ghosts might become bored with individuals walking in and out on a daily basis or only perform for individuals that they take a liking to.

 

Ghosts do not often set schedules or set up meetings with the living on any level that I have seen.

8. Your Personal Ghosts Are Protecting You!

The real ghosts that you are not aware of that follow you around are keeping other ghosts from showing themselves to you.

Be it the ghost of a family member or even a dead pet. Many people travel with a entourage of spirit beings or ghosts and don't know it.

The personal ghosts that follow you might be trying to protect you from unseen paranormal forces. If this is the case chances or you will never see or encounter a real ghost ever in your life no matter how hard you try.

9. Paranormal Activity Lows

Sometimes whether it caused by weather, time of the day or season of the year Some paranormal activity will cease to occur.

some believe the moons position or the tides of the paranormal world become out of our boundaries of reality. Sun spots radio and microwave frequencies is believed to cause this. Sunspots and solar flares and some believe even pollen levels will effect whether a ghost can make itself known.

10. It's Either You, Or You Have Been Duped!

The location person or what ever you think is a paranormal ghost filled haunted house, Cemetery or scariest place in the world hotspot just isn't the portal or vortex someone has made it out to be.

Many people often put out the wrong information unknowingly or they just lie about the goings on when and where ghost or concerned.

So you then stop the investigation and declare that a person place or thing is not haunted!

And this of course is a personal judgment call but doesn't mean to stop the investigation at this point.

Have someone else you trust do it see what they find then realize that the reasons you did not find a real ghosts is because it just might be you!

To this day I often hear of many ghost hunting investigations gone wrong. And these "Real Ghost Hunting Mistakes" that so called paranormal investigators make and why ghosts won't show themselves is often the biggest questions I am asked.
