The Railroad Museum is open seven days a week from March to December. The Museum is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, New Year's Day, and during the local Mardi Gras weekend. We are located near The Strand at 25th Street and Santa Fe Place. The Railroad Museum is easy to find. Its white Art Deco 10 story office tower is visible throughout the Island, near the Port of Galveston in the Strand Historical District. There is free parking for all Museum visitors.
