GRAVE SIDE GHOSTS IN PHOTOS:

GRAVE YARD GHOST PHOTO SENT TO US BY Russ Hetrick

A cemetery is a place in which dead bodies and cremated remains are buried. The term cemetery (from Greek sleeping place) implies that the land is specifically designated as a burying ground. Cemeteries in the Western world are the place where the final ceremonies of death are observed. And a place where ghost like having their pictures taken.

Real Cemetery Ghost In Photos

With the flow of all that is paranormal and those seeking the truth about the otherside the phenomena is becoming more and more common place. Ghost and little girl Photos Sent to us by Sherrie Thomas

My daughter and I took a trip to my father and sisters grave site's on June 10th of 2006 and I took these photos of her standing at the headstones of their graves. I thought that it was really odd that the haze only showed up at those headstones and not at the ones in the distance. The other pictures on the camera taken that day didn't have any haze at all. It also seems odd that the haze showed up when the pic was taken away from the sun. Maybe someone else can figure this one out. --Sherrie Thomas

Ghost Photos taken in Cemeteries are not that uncommon. But it seems the results are all never always the same, (discounting Orbs of course). From strange anomalous mists to stringy ecto shapes, Real Cemetery Ghost Photos seem to hold a few surprises that might just send a chill or two down your spine.

Many Paranormal Investigators believe that weather, time of day, climate, and season including surroundings and elctro magnetic conditions including Solar flares can contribute to how a real ghost is photographed. And more so to what appears on film as what many believe to be a real ghost photo.

Well known psychic William Reese Smith, of Marion, North Carolina, states that many ghost stay at their graves to see what family members come to pay tribute to them. Others might just come and go because many cemeteries he believes are vortex's or portals to the other side.

Smith says he has had many encounters with grave side ghost and that most just want to be noticed. While still the others wish only to be called on judgment day. Smith can often be seen talking to the dead in Marion, NC old cemeteries comforting many a lost soul. " The Dead talk to me all the time." Smith says., "Sometimes They even follow me home!"

Smith is a Clariaudient as well as Clarivouyant. Meaning he see's and hears ghost when present. Smith will often tell people when to take a photo that ghosts are haunting a spot and that when the photo is taken the spirits usually show up on film. Smith also does Private Tarot card readings from his home in Marion, North Carolina. The house is haunted by many ghosts he says. And a very famous one at that!

Since Hurricane Katrina he lives in the former home of Daniel A. Kanipe, Sergeant in Company C, 7th Cavalry, was born, raised, and died in McDowell County's Marion, near the Blue Ridge Mountains of western North Carolina. He was one of two soldiers who rode into the Battle of the Little Bighorn with General George Armstrong Custer in June of 1876 and lived to tell the tale. As the legend of "Custer's Last Stand" grew, Kanipe's eyewitness testimony and identification of severely mangled bodies lived on in all historical accounts.

The Kanipes moved into a house just south of Marion at 238 Rutherford Road. The very real Haunted house still stands in excellent repair since Smith took ownership in 2006. "Kanipe died here in this house and he still watches over it" says Smith. " And he loves what I have done to the place."

Many sensitive ghost investigators Like Reese Smith pick up on ghosts in cemeteries but these ghosts he says are usually those that feel the must not leave the spot where they were buried until the sound of Gabriel's horn.

Ghost hunters come from many diversified backgrounds, as you know some are plumbers turned TV Stars other come from all walks of life. Even TNA wrestler CM Punk tried his hand at it during Scifi's Ghost Hunters Visit to The Stanley Hotel. The search for the unknown and life after death seems to be always a never ending trek. Ghost hunting in Cemeteries across the United States ha also raised many alarms through several communities.

Salem Mass. Graveyard ghost photo.

"Most people just believe the dead should be left to dream between the taillight", says Smith. "A few notable cemeteries have come forward to discourage ghost hunting in their graveyards for fear of vandalism or disrespect to the dearly departed."

Marie Laveaus' Tomb Ghost Photo Certain cemeteries like those in New Orleans, Louisiana seem to have a higher percentage of grave side ghost photos taken each year. Gina Lanier believes and speculates. "More people in the United States visit these cemeteries with a camera more then any others." New Orleans Ghosts in photo

Ghost hunting in cemeteries is certainly nothing new, it just takes a deep interest in specters, spooks and shades to get the ball rolling. The grave yard investigative search for ghosts to many die hard's is more of a proving ground for those that wish to see if there is more to life then just our daily existence. Others now a days seem to do it for the kick of just getting scared.

With the fact that amateur ghost hunting is becoming a national past time isn't it logical that the resting places for the dead are the perfect place to photograph real ghosts.

Ghost Photographs: Psychic medium Mickey of Miami says. "Marie Laveau's tomb is one of the most photographed tombs in America." " Many people have captured strange images when they photograph her grave." " Some ghost photos are apparent some are not at first perceived as a real ghost." If you look at the photo above very closely you might just see something that might amaze you!

Many Ghost Hunters and Investigators have noticed that certain paranormal photo phenomena happens in specific parts of the country and locations rural or urban often show different results. You as an observer might debunk Sherrie Thomas's Photos as just a smear on the lenses others look at them and see more then what is apparent at first glance.

Many say they see more then just an orb in this photo. What do you see?

Real Ghost Photos? It is for you of course to decide for yourself if you believe these to be what they are purported as such. Anomalous yes by all means. Some ghost appear subtly says Smith, others with a flash and a bang. It depends on how much they want to be noticed or make a statement.

Making sure your Ghost Photos are real!

Here are the most important things to be careful of when experimenting with taking ghost photographs from Gina Lanier Paranormal Investigator.

1.Make sure that you have nothing protruding in front of the camera lens. Know where your camera strap is at all times! Notice how many so-called "ghost photos" that you see look like camera straps or like a finger.

2. Be sure that your lens is clean and covered when not in use.

3. Make sure that the weather is cooperating with your photographs. By this, I mean make sure that it is not raining or snowing. Round balls of glowing light that are photographed during a rain storm are not exactly overwhelming proof of the supernatural.

4. Make sure that conditions are not damp, promoting moisture on your camera lens.

5. Be sure to point the camera away from reflective surfaces when using a flash. Avoid mirrors and windows in a house and polished tombstones when shooting at night in a cemetery. The light from the flash bouncing off this surface can refract back onto your camera lens and create "orbs" that are not of paranormal origins.

Stories of the World's Most Haunted Cemeteries such as New Orleans tomb of Marie Laveau, often carry the same general haunted theme. Ghost, ghosts and more ghosts. Many places have been found where ancient people buried their dead. Such a place could be an organized necropolis or it could simply be an area with highly symbolic elements (like the Tomb of Giants in Sardinia). The Egyptian pyramids were tombs. In fact the very dead or beneath our feet literally.

A real ghost in Cemetery photo? You be the judge!
