Do you really want to know how real paranormal investigators and ghost hunters track ghosts? Well all you need is some basic equipment and these "common sense" guidelines at least that is the general conception. But so many today have there own exotic and personalized ways and means to capture real proof that ghosts exist. Today at this time in the world of great new cheap electronics, film and digital cameras capture images of ghosts. But to many in the paranormal ghost hunting field today believe that film offers the advantage of allowing ghost hunters to compare prints with the original negatives. These negatives tend to show that the image was not a form of trick photography. When taking a ghost tour I often tell my guest that even a simple disposable camera is comparable if not better then an expensive digital to take along. In giving a ghost hunting tour rather then just a ghost hunt I have come to experience many things. And I believe these things that I have so noted might be some good info for those of you who take my tour in the future or another somewhere in the country that offers the same. With my observations of what happens and what that I see happiness to give the same results I would like to share it with you. Many Ghost hunters also bring along a simple compass, these will detect unusual magnetic forces, which may or may not be associated with the paranormal. If you have a electromagnetic device of any kind I suggest you bring your own. These EMF devices which up energy emitted from light bulbs, fridges power lines and other appliances, also so if you know how to read one practice in an area first so you know what your looking at. I also have found that the percentage of those people that wear black or dark clothing on the nightly tours get some great ghosts photos. There's or often very dramatic and and the most unexplainable. Those on a ghost hunt that tie up their long hair, get better real ghost photos, the ideas is that since stray hairs under certain lighting can appear as strands of orbs. Listening to the dead! Conducting EVP gathering (Electronic Voice Phenomena) I suggest to those that take my tour to bring a standard tape recorder or video camera with an external microphone. I believe that since internal microphones can pick up sounds such as the sound of gears within the equipment. And, please keep questions very short and simple. Also ask the ghost haunting the location you visit for information that can be validated using census records or archives. For example: Whop are you? Why did you die? And tell me your name? I enjoy that on a ghost tour well get together as soon as we can for another ghost hunting expedition and have everyone bring their info that they gathered to compare with others that have taken the tour. The use of several recording devices at the same time, so recordings can be checked against each others. Every noise on a recording must be identified. For instance, if someone coughs or talks, state what happened aloud after you stop the recoding before the next question. That is so you don't misinterpret the sound for ghosts or paranormal activity when you review the recording later. I also suggest that you take a ghost hunting workshop. Many great ghost hunters no matter how well seasoned you are they are great for sharing your info and techniques and often someone like Paranormal Tasks Force Founder, and features in Children Of the Grave, Booth Bros, The one and only Greg Myers. He might just let you into one of their trade secrets. Workshops like these always have a wealth of new info for everyone to explore. and Myers does not disappoint the guest.
