When you take on paranormal investigation or hunting ghosts full time or as a past time, many people in the field fall short and avoid the warnings others put out there in books movies and web sites.

Often the main stream paranormal investigators and community on their many sites will not warn you that it comes with many unseen and hidden dangers. To often Ghost Hunting is just something fun to do with no haunted strings attached or physical or mental dangers. Sound familiar?

Sorting Out the Real Serious Dangers of the Paranormal

There are many untold very serious overly under exaggerated problems can and do come from invisible forces driving you to madness, or possession by ghost, demons or possibly something un-natural yet waiting to be discovered.

I have through my research discovered many people who started out searching for hauntings and ghosts and debunking haunted myths about houses, hotels, cemeteries and urban legends.

And yet when another paranormal expert comes to you perplexed and frightened of what they have just in reality have encountered then you might just take a step back and realize that a real haunted frightening experience is in your near future also.

These many paranormal experts and lone individuals often come to me reporting that something otherworldly has actually taken over their lives or followed them home. They are often afraid to point this out to close friends and colleagues because as the big ghost hunters they pretend to be. Finally something has scared them to the point that they are truly worried about where this real paranormal activity in their lives is going to reach. These ghostly forms and spirits are now actively haunting them to point where they or full of great fear and misery and can no longer function in the real world around them without suspecting something evil is following them and messing up their lives.

As silly as this may sound the hunters do become haunted.

The personal lives of many who hunt for ghost often ends up in shambles. And though they don't advertise or speak of the terrifying things and situations that befall them. Yet something far beyond strange whispers, cold chills, and being physically beaten or sexually abused by a ghost has stained their life and threatens their family friends and daily life. To too often they begin to fear the EMF and EVP's they capture in their own homes and now this unseen force has them in their paranormal grip.

Relationships become strained and their personal interest in paranormal phenomena becomes more then just an obsession. Some run from it. They quit the paranormal groups telling associates that they no longer believe in ghosts or need to to a break.

Often the ghosts or spirits that effect these individuals through unseen forces dictate the pressure and fears they encounter and the poor paranormal investigator is at odds over the tension in their lives. These ghosts often will cause a person to disassociate themselves from all aspects of paranormal research.

These personal hauntings also effect individuals who just dabble in seeking out ghosts on ghost tours. A ghost can as we know make itself known in anyone's life whether they just shrug it off as weird experiences or a one time occurrence. But when the unseen psychic and physical attacks don't stop that's when things get really scary.

I know several Ghost tour operators who have come to me telling me how their lives have changed for the worse since they began giving their ghost tours. Some will tell me a ghosts caused them to get a divorce, ruined their personal relationships and lost them lots of money, home and even caused their kids home and all their friends to be taken away.

A most recent request for help came from a serious Texan Ghost Tour guide who said she was too afraid to give her ghost tours any longer. Relating to me that the ghost from the tour had caused her many strange mishaps as well as had invaded her life to the point where she wants to give up the ghost tour business and just hide. She went on to tell me of how she had become an alcoholic and transitioned into dangerous drugs and a strange fantasy world. She also fears for her life as well as has attempted suicide on more then one occasion. All this she says in her life actually mimics the many haunted hotspots and their stories of her ghost tour.

And there are those that come to me trying to rid themselves of the ghost that have as they say followed them cross country after they have taken a ghost tour while on vacation in another haunted city.

Recently a well respected Ghost hunter in the community told me of his encounter with a ghost from Waverly Hills Sanatorium. He said the ghost that he encountered followed him home to Florida. The actual ghost he said haunted his dreams and he could not get it out of his head i his waking hours no matter what he tried to not think of it. This person is not the type who scares easily and he went on to tell me of how his wife left him as he drew more into a shell. His question to me was if this was a true haunting or just the progression of his life. His wife in court her lawyer openly sited his ghost hunting as being a reason for her divorcing him. Be it his obsession with the dead or the fact that the marriage just went sour he feared that the ghosts that followed him home was at the center of all his troubles. for all the nightmares got worse and strange things begin to happen in his home that he said was off the scale of any paranormal activity he had ever encountered. Objects flew before his eyes things hovered over his head and voices spoke to him audibly in his ears. He feared going to the people he knew because something kept telling him they would just lock him up and certify him as crazy.

There are of course roaming real thug ghosts that haunt this world looking to wreck the lives of people for no reason and this is what popular culture in such movies as The Entity, Paranormal Activity and a host of others often portray. These ghosts usually as it is hauntingly defined attack those that either don't believe in ghosts or have a curiosity that often makes someone search for answers to why they are being haunted to what often results in serious or deadly consequences.

Demonic forces often seem to be the main root at many strange over the top hauntings. Fears of such dangerous encounters with devil's and horrid spirit creatures seem to overpower even those that think they have protection or such things just can't happen.

A well known reality ghost hunting personality contacted to tell me that a ghost was having active sex with them since their teams recent trek to a supposed normal over investigated haunted location in a what he called a normal haunted prison. He said that he and his team had investigated this location so many times that it was business as usual.

He went on to tell me how upon returning home he actually feared he was going crazy from what this unseen force was doing to him as he lay in bed each night next to his wife.

The very real haunted location he stated was just one of the many simple hauntings that had been documented many times by his and other groups over the years. But since his last investigation something followed him home and was actually performing oral sex and penetrating him anally. He told me in his email and over the phone how this ghosts would shove what he thought was fingers and at one point hand into his anus. this strange occurrence he sated would happen when he was alone and even in a crowd of people.

He so deeply feared to speak of this to anyone for he now was more frightened then he had ever been in his life and career as a paranormal investigator.

You have to face the facts most ghosts you do encounter or somewhat just traces of spooky experiences. But as everyone who embarks on hunting for real ghosts must understand there is always a serious or dangerous haunted situation that someday you will have to face. And it might be in your own home and effect the lives of your spouse, children, pets and all those you come in close contact with.

The real haunted paranormal point is that one day a ghosts or demonic forces will set out to attack you personally, and you have to realize that certainly your beliefs, life and sanity will all be pushed to the extreme limit.

Earlier this year I was contacted by a person who had joined a ghost hunting group in Kentucky. They went on to tell me they believed that a ghost was brutally physically beating them and driving them to commit suicide. The ghost they said would beat them and leave marks upon their face and body and even caused them to be hospitalized.

In desperation they went to several people in their ghost hunting group that told them they needed mental help that such things do not happen to paranormal investigators and that he was just telling them that to get attention. He went on to relate how the group asked them to resign and move on because they all thought he was crazy.

This ghost he said would beat him brutally kicking him in the groin just as someone entered the room he was in. Often no matter where he was this ghost would punch him in the gut so hard he would fly across the room from it's great unseen strength.

And then again there or those that are immune to anything that the paranormal unseen world throws at them. they are more worried about falling thorough a floor or the dangers of Ouija Boards or young children being effected just by hearing a ghost story.

Of course those that warn us that might not have had a serious situation where their life is threatened or something causes them great alarm in their lives. And many do not take them seriously until they have something overwhelm them.

Physical and psychological attacks from a ghost is as we know nothing new. Tales of ghost attacking unsuspecting individuals predates the spoken and written records in this world. Many ghost stories relate these forces as spurned lovers or evil dead beings that only seek to ruin others. And in what many who research the dead are finding out is that these tales often or filled with the same facts and situations that many bring to the table today.

But the frightening part of it all is it is now effecting those that openly hunt out ghosts for pleasure or just for thrill and chill.

If through your ghost hunting experience you have not by your own terms reached the ultimate haunting as of yet. No matter how long you have been hunting these invisible creatures and bumps in the night, one must remember the scariest moment and location is still to be found somewhere in your future. That is if you keep searching for real paranormal activity and I hope you are ready to face it when it comes looking just for you.
