And such is the Tales of all that is paranormal in the World.
There today are some individuals and ordinary seeming people who say they can perceive energy. Or they can talk to the dead or see things through remote viewing or psychic powers before they happen. Mediums, sensitive's, witches, vampires and voodoo hoodoo followers all make claims of supernatural powers and spirit world contacts. Whether these individuals do possess such powers to communicate with the dead or demons and angels is all up to us to openly investigate and debate.
There are many ways of being considered a real paranormal generation person. Many powers associated with the paranormal are clairvoyance (paranormal seeing), clairsentience (paranormal feeling & knowing) etc. All these are referred to as being above the normal or heightened ESP, extra sensory perception and also known as the sixth sense. Please also see: The Six Psychic Senses
There are also those that investigate these things place and people who it seems that it is more then an idle fascination or curiosity.
Bell founded and was the original owner of Pahrump, Nevada-based radio station, KNYE 95.1 FM. His broadcast studio and transmitter were located at his home in Pahrump while he hosted Coast to Coast AM except from June to December 2006, at which time he lived in the Philippines.
Observers regard Bell as a master showman, noting that he calls his show "absolute entertainment"[4] and expressly says he does not necessarily accept every guest or caller's claims, but only offers a forum where they will not be openly ridiculed. Bell was one of only a few talk show hosts who do not screen calls, but began screening calls in 2006. On the October 31, 2006 edition of Coast to Coast AM, (renamed for the night to Ghost to Ghost AM), Bell was asked why he was now using call screeners. The explanation given was for him to use unscreened open lines from the Philippines would require listeners to call there directly at enormous cost to them. He subsequently returned to unscreened calls upon his return to the United States.
His calm attitude, patient questions, and ability to tease substance from nebulous statements of callers and guests gave his show a relaxed yet serious atmosphere. This earned him praise from those who declare the paranormal deserves a mature outlet of discussion in the media as well as the approval of those simply amused by the nightly parade of bizarre, typically fringe topics. Ed Dames, Richard C. Hoagland, Terence McKenna, Dannion Brinkley, David John Oates, and Robert Bigelow have all been regular guests. Some of Bell’s regular guests, particularly Hoagland, continue to be regular guests on Coast to Coast AM now hosted by George Noory.
Bell's own interests, however, extend beyond the paranormal. He has interviewed singers Crystal Gayle, Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard and Gordon Lightfoot, comedian George Carlin, writer Dean Koontz, hard science fiction writer Greg Bear, TV talk host Regis Philbin, Star Trek actor Leonard Nimoy, actor Dan Aykroyd, former Luftwaffe pilot Bruno Stolle, actress Jane Seymour, actress Ellen Muth, actor and TV host Robert Stack, human rights lawyer John Loftus, legendary disc jockey Casey Kasem and frequent guests physicist Michio Kaku and SETI astronomers Seth Shostak and H. Paul Shuch.
Beginning in late 1996, Bell was criticized for reporting rumors that Hale-Bopp comet was being trailed by a UFO. It was speculated that members of the Heaven's Gate group committed mass suicide based on rumors Bell aired, but others dismissed the idea, noting that the Heaven's Gate website stated: "Whether Hale-Bopp has a "companion" or not is irrelevant from our perspective."[5] Susan Wright notes, however, that Bell was also "one of the first to publicize expert opinions debunking the 'alien companion'" said to have been shadowing Hale-Bopp.
In the Season 3 episode of Seven Days, "Sugar Mountain", when Chrononaut Frank Parker reported that the "weapon" he found was a boy capable of telekenesis and pyrokinesis, Ramsey replied, "Oh, come on! You've been listening to too much Art Bell!".
* On May 23, 1997 Art interviewed a man who called himself "Victor", who claimed to have been at S-4 (near Area 51), and was responsible for the release to the public of a nearly 3 minute video commonly called the "alien interview". For almost two hours, Victor described the ebe program at S-4, verifying most of Bob Lazar's claims. The interview can be heard here. <--- fix me
* J.C. Webster the Third, or "J.C." – J.C. began calling in 1996, and has since been on the air over 50 times. He features himself to be a Revival Baptist preacher, and believes Art to be "the Devil's Mouthpiece." He has continued to call George Noory and guest hosts. Although some have expressed a disbelief that someone like J.C. could exist, Art Bell and George Noory have repeated their beliefs that J.C. is real, and is neither a "put on" nor a "plant."
* One of Art Bell's Coast to Coast interviews occurred in 1997 with Mel Waters, who discussed what is known as "Mel's Hole" in rural Washington, which is said to be an infinitely deep hole featuring paranormal powers. No such hole has ever been found.
* In the mid to late 1990s, a regular caller named "Fritz" would call in and give his view on various matters.
* In the mid to late 1990s, another regular caller known only as "Charlie Liberal" used to call with his perspectives on current events.
* In April 1996, Bell received a package of what would be known as "Art's Parts". These parts were allegedly pieces of debris from the 1947 Roswell UFO crash. Extensive analysis of the metals indicated they were made of an odd Bismuth material.
* In 2000 and 2001, Bell spoke with John Titor, a self proclaimed time traveler from 2036 who made all kinds of fantastic predictions and discussed time travel.
* In February 2005, Bell received a call from a person calling himself "Oscar" proclaiming to be "the Son of Satan." Oscar had since also called George Noory, but disappeared after a June, 2007 on-air confrontation with J.C.
* One night in 1997, Art Bell received a fax from a woman named Jill who requested he clear a line for her boyfriend, whom she claimed was determined to fly a small plane into Area 51. He cleared the "Wild Card Line," took the man's call, which he broadcast on-air. Bell warned that the U.S. government would either try to force him down or shoot him down and warned, "You'd better turn around now." The caller described military jets arriving to intercept him, then taking fire from the ground before shouting "Oh baby, I think I'm going in! Prepare for anything! Whoohoo!" and the line went dead. Bell traded follow-up faxes with the woman, but never heard again from the man. Bell allows that the call may have been a hoax, but many listeners at the time believed it was genuine. Some even believe that, rather than killing the man, the personnel actually had him work for them.
* At about 11 p.m. PST, Thursday, September 11, 1997, he designated one phone line for Area 51 employees who wanted to discuss the secretive base. Several callers claimed to work at Area 51, but the bizarre highlight of the night came when a seemingly distraught and terrified man claimed to be a former Area 51 employee recently discharged for "medical" reasons. He cited malevolent extraterrestrials at Area 51 ("extra-dimensional beings" who are not "what they claim to be") and an impending disaster that the government knew would take out "major population centers." Midway through this call, Bell's program went off the air for about 30 minutes. After talking to network engineers, the official explanation was that the network satellite had "lost earth lock" or forgotten where the earth was. Network officials were baffled, and the cause remains a mystery.
o This incident formed the basis of the song "Faaip de Oiad" by the rock band Tool, which features said interview (with Art Bell's part cut out), over frantic drumming and buzzing static.
o Another song featuring this call was "They are not what they claim to be ..." by electronic artist The serenity Vortex (previously known as The Boy Flood). It was featured on the main page of Coast to Coast AM in the listers submission section. This version is more purely musical than Tool's but still has a dark edge to it.
o Yet another song featuring the call was "It's Out There and It's Gonna Get You" by experimental Texas-quartet The Paper Chase on their 2006 album Now You Are One Of Us.
o Another song "Planetary Duality I : Hideous Revelation" by the Technical Death Metal band The Faceless uses snippets of the call dubbed over an eery and ominous sounding instrumental track.
* A caller in 2000 named "Daniel Murray" claimed he was a Majestic Agent from Downey, CA.
o This call served as the inspiration for the alternate reality game Majestic.
* In March 2005 a man also called about disturbing events on Kwajalein and Johnston Atoll about a weapon that only targeted certain people and could leave others unhurt. He indicated he had been on both islands (that are US military only) and that these weapons had been tested in 1993. Art lost the call after another voice came on the line with a click saying "Shelton, terminate the call from A-6." Art tried to call the man back but was unsuccessful.
* "Bugs" - Aging farmer who has repeatedly told of his account of shooting and burying two Bigfoot creatures back in the 1970s in the Texas Panhandle, initially thinking they were bears. Bugs has mailed a map of the location of this "burial" to Art Bell, to be released to the public upon Bugs' death. During his first appearance in 1996, Bugs said he had taken a dozen Polaroid photos of the creatures he would be willing to send to Art. None of the alleged photos have yet been made available.
* In 2003, Chris Clements, a freelance writer with the Washington Post, called Art Bell to tell him he had evidence of a financial connection between the Bush family and the Bin Laden's. Clements went on further to tell of how his research showed that 9/11 may have been orchestrated by the Bush family and hinted at proof of a coming police state with secret prisons and the chipping of citizens. Clements promised to forward all of his information to Bell but it was reported that Clements died in a suspicious car crash in the weeks after his call.

According to the Parapsychological Association, parapsychology is the scientific study of certain types of paranormal phenomena, or of phenomena which appear to be paranormal. The term is based on the Greek para (beside/beyond), psyche (soul/mind), and logos (account/explanation) and was coined by psychologist Max Dessoir in or before 1889. Its first appearance was in an article by Dessoir in the June 1889 issue of the German publication Sphinx. J. B. Rhine later popularized "parapsychology" as a replacement for the earlier term "psychical research", during a shift in methodologies which brought experimental methods to the study of psychic phenomena. In contemporary research, the term 'parapsychology' refers to the study of psi, a general blanket term used by academic parapsychologists to denote anomalous processes or outcomes
The scientific reality of parapsychological phenomena and the validity of scientific parapsychological research is a matter of frequent dispute and criticism. The field is regarded by critics as a pseudoscience. Parapsychologists, in turn, say that parapsychological research is scientifically rigorous. Despite criticisms, a number of academic institutions now conduct research on the topic, employing laboratory methodologies and statistical techniques, such as meta-analysis.[citation needed] The Parapsychological Association is the leading association for parapsychologists and has been a member of the American Association for the Advancement of Science since 1969.
The Parapsychological Association was formed in 1957 as a professional society for parapsychologists following an initiative by J.B. Rhine. Its purpose has been "to advance parapsychology as a science, to disseminate knowledge of the field, and to integrate the findings with those of other branches of science." It holds annual conventions, which is reported in its Proceedings, and the proceedings of which are published annually as Research in Parapsychology.
In 1969 the Association took a giant step in advancing the field by affiliating with the American Association for the Advancement of Science. The work of the association is a reported in the Journal of Parapsychology and the Journal of the American Society for Psychical Research.
Its first president was R. A. McConnell, then of the Biophysics Department, University of Pittsburgh, and the first vice-president was Gertrude R. Schmeidler of the Department of Psychology, City College of New York. Rhea White was named Secretary Treasurer. Four others were elected to the Council, bringing the total to seven: Margaret Anderson, Remi Cadoret, Karlis Osis, and W. G. Roll.

Before there was SciFi reality-TV series, Ghost Hunters, the “real” paranormal/parapsychological investigators, Hans HolzerThe Warrens,Christopher Chacon, Loyd Auerbach, John Zaffis Jr. and William Roll were each, independently, conducting their own extraordinary research into all things considered paranormal such as ghosts and poltergeistsm possession and the otherworlds.
As a result of television shows about the “paranormal”, many new self-proclaimed paranormal investigators and research groups have sprouted up all over the world. But make no mistake, today’s so-called paranormal researchers still cannot hold a candle to to the select few other world-renowned veteran paranormal experts that have been conducting field and laboratory investigations long before reality TV cast a spotlight into the otherside.
William Roll was born July 3, 1926 in Bremen, Germany, where his father was American Vice-Consul. His mother was Danish and Roll attended Holte Gymnasium in Denmark. He enrolled at the University of California, Berkeley in 1947, and received the BA in 1949, majoring in philosophy and psychology. After a year of graduate work in sociology, Roll went to Oxford University, to do research in parapsychology under Professor H.H. rice until 1957. He received the M. Litt. degree for a thesis entitled "Theory and Experiment in Psychical Research," and was president of the Oxford University Society for Psychical Research. In 1957, Roll joined the staff of the Parapsychology Laboratory, Duke University, working under Dr. J.B. Rhine until 1964. During this period he made his first RSPK and haunt investigations, was appointed project director of the Psychical Research Foundation (PRF), and elected president of the Parapsychological Association.
WILLIAM ROLL
After Rhine's retirement from Duke in 1964, the PRF became a sponsored program at the Department of Electrical Engineering. In 1986, Roll was appointed Professor of Psychical Research and Psychology at West Georgia College (now the State University of West Georgia) with funding from the PRF. In 1989, he received the Ph.D. from Lund University, Sweden, for a thesis entitled "This World or That: An Examination of Parapsychological Findings Suggestive of the Survival of Human Personality After Death." Since 1990, Roll has been teaching parapsychology at the University as an adjunct professor.
Roll has written more than 100 scientific papers, several articles for anthologies, edited 11 volumes of Research in Parapsychology, and written four books, The Poltergeist (1972), Theory and Experiment in Psychical Research (1975, his M.Litt. thesis), Psychic Connections (1995, with Lois Duncan), and Unleashed (2004, with Valerie Storey). In 1996 he received the Parapsychological Association's award for a Distinguished Career in Parapsychology. In 2002 he was awarded the Dinsdale Memorial Award by the Society for Scientific Investigation for his RSPK studies.

Sherri has had an interest in the paranormal since a small child growing up in NE Ohio. She has been investigating the paranormal for 22 years and has documented 100s of investigation of private homes, businesses, and other locations. Her interest in history and the War Between the States blossomed during her teen years when she learned she was a distant cousin to General Stonewall Jackson and the 3rd great granddaughter of a Confederate soldier. The last several years have also found Sherri "acting" our interests as a member of a Ohio Civil War re enacting unit who portray a Confederate unit.
Sherri began leading haunted tours at a century old building in Canal Fulton Ohio in 2003. Leading sold out tours for nearly 2 years convinced her that there was a growing need for organized haunted events in Ohio. As a result, Haunted Heartland Tours was begun in 2004 and with a successful 1st year passing, she incorporated haunted bus tours, Haunted History Walks of Canal Fulton, nighttime cemetery walks, paranormal classes, haunted dinner events and presentations. Sherri's tours are a blend of history, the paranormal as well as bit of science and skepticism. Tom and Lisa Butler
Lisa has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and Tom has a bachelor of science degree as an electronics engineer. Together, they are directors of the American Association of Electronic Voice Phenomena (AA-EVP). The AA-EVP was founded in 1982 to provide objective evidence that we survive death in an individual conscious state. The Association is dedicated to assisting members and the general public with questions about the phenomena, and ways to collect examples of the phenomenal voices and images. This is accomplished via a quarterly AA-EVP NewsJournal, the Idea Exchange Internet discussion board, http://aaevp.com, an AA-EVP document archive and conferences.
The Butlers have recently published the book, There is No Death and There are No Dead (ISBN: 0-9727493-0-6). This book includes the history of EVP and ITC, examples with personal stories, information on the latest research from experimenters around the globe, experimental techniques and theories explaining these phenomena.
Coast to Coast AM is a late-night syndicated radio talk show which deals with a variety of topics, but usually ones that relate to the paranormal. It was created by Art Bell, airs seven nights a week 10:00 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. Pacific Time, and is distributed by Premiere Radio Networks. It is currently hosted by George Noory weekdays and Art Bell (broadcasting from Manila in the Philippines) on the weekends.
Coast to Coast mostly emphasizes very unusual topics, and is full of personal stories related by callers. While program content varies, most nights are focused towards the paranormal, and subjects such as the occult, remote viewing, hauntings, shadow people, psychic predictions, conspiracy theories, UFOs, crop circles, cryptozoology and science fiction literature, among other paranormal topics. Since the terrorist attacks carried out in the United States on September 11, 2001, the events of that day (as well as conspiracy theories surrounding them) and current U.S. counter-terrorism strategy have also become frequent themes. However, more conventional topics are sometimes discussed, with interviews with notable authors and political talk sometimes featured.
After the theme song is played (Giorgio Moroder's The Chase from Midnight Express), the broadcast is typically kicked off with a reading of current events or news stories by the host, with callers weighing in if time permits. This is usually followed by a lengthy interview with the evening's guest, or hours of open phone lines. Occasionally, roundtable discussions are held on one of the show's common topics. Since Art Bell has resumed weekend hosting from the Philippines, he has focused on scientific topics.
During hours of "open phone lines", calls are taken and put on air without any screening, at least according to original host Art Bell. More recently, under George Noory, open lines have added topics for callers to share their experiences or stories about a particular issue or situation. The show has multiple call-in numbers, of which there are always at least five (as of 2005): for "east of the Rockies", "west of the Rockies", first-time callers, "international callers" and finally a "wild card" line. They are all announced at the beginning of each broadcast by Ross Mitchell. The shows opening, which is now famous, had been spoofed on the now defunct nationally-syndicated Phil Hendrie Show, with Hendrie imitating Mitchell's trademark deep voice and repeating his one phone number for all four lines. On special occasions, Coast to Coast AM rolls out more numbers, including lines that are reserved for special "themed" callers, for example those who claim to be from other dimensions, time periods, and those possessed by spirits.
The Halloween edition of Coast to Coast becomes Ghost to Ghost, as listeners call in with their ghost stories. The New Year's Eve show usually entails listeners calling in their predictions for the coming year, and the host (commonly Art Bell) rating the predictions made a year earlier.
Coast to Coast was created by veteran broadcaster Art Bell in the mid 1980s. Originally called West Coast AM, it aired on Las Vegas, Nevada radio station KDWN 720. Bell hosted the program each weeknight from 1:00 AM to 5:00 AM Pacific Time, live from the KDWN studios in the Plaza Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. In addition to his show, Bell did radio commercials and other voiceover work for the station.
Bell's program was syndicated in 1990 as Coast to Coast AM and began airing on more stations. For a while it still kept the 1:00 AM starting time, but then moved to 11:00 PM to 3:00 AM and then to the present 10:00 PM to 2:00 AM schedule to better serve other time zones. Soon, Bell hosted the program every weeknight and Sundays from his residence in the town of Pahrump, located in Nye County, Nevada (often referred to on the program as The Kingdom of Nye). Bell is a skilled interviewer, drawing out his callers' improbable stories with a poker-faced but confidence-inspiring, "Oh, really?" He has retired and returned to the show many times since 1998; the first "retirement" lasted two weeks, and was brought on by alleged threats against his family. Art Bell's first successor as host of Coast to Coast was Mike Siegel.
In 2001, Siegel stepped down as host due to pressure from Premiere Radio Networks and Bell, as ratings and affiliates fell sharply during his tenure. Bell then returned to weekday hosting duties, only to depart again the following year due to chronic back pain. He was replaced by frequent guest-host George Noory, and the weekday program officially became Coast to Coast AM with George Noory by the end of 2002.
Bell made another comeback in 2003, this time replacing Barbara Simpson and Ian Punnett on the weekend broadcasts. Then in June 2005, he announced that he would be reducing his role to just two Sundays a month to leave more time for traveling with his wife. He also disclosed that Ian Punnett and Hilly Rose would take over the new vacancies. Previously, Rose had been a frequent guest-host of the program, and Punnett had regularly hosted Sunday evening broadcasts years ago. However, following the passing of his wife, Ramona Bell, on January 5, 2006, Art decided to return to the air on Saturdays and Sundays, stating in an emotion-filled broadcast on Sunday, January 22, 2006], that he needed to keep busy. On April 8, 2006, concluding several weeks of mourning, Art Bell, 60, married 21 year old Airyn Ruiz, a resident of the Philippines whom he came to know through internet "dating." Art relocated to the Philippines and resumed hosting the show as of June 15, 2006, but has had difficulties with an ISDN line and hosts weekends as technology permits. Otherwise, George Noory substitute hosts the Sunday versions or a tape is played of a previous show. Saturdays are guest hosted when Bell is unavailable. On Saturday from 9 pm to 1 am Eastern Time, Punnett hosts Coast to Coast Live, a spin-off of the original Coast to Coast AM, covering similar topics. He occasionally hosts the regular Saturday edition of Coast to Coast as well, making an eight hour shift.
George Noory remains host of the weeknight editions. He broadcasts from, alternately, Los Angeles, California and St. Louis, Missouri, and has had a continually positive effect on the program's ratings. He is consistently nonjudgmental in his reponses to callers' comments, seemingly accepting at face value the credibility of their reported experience. He has promised listeners that he will "stick around" to host the show through 2012; his wish is to report on whatever might occur in relation to the many predictions of the world ending (or at least changing significantly) that year, as purportedly anticipated by the Mayan calendar, alleged bible code, and a number of spiritualist and other fantasy writers, prognosticators, predictors, shamen, the witch doctorate, and assorted prophets. Recently, Noory retracted that statement and now says that he will stay until he is "dragged out."
Dreamland was another Art Bell creation, nearly identical to Coast-to-Coast AM but less caller driven. Bell hosted Dreamland on early Sunday evenings, until he relinquished control of the show to Whitley Strieber. It continued to precede Coast-to-Coast AM on most affiliate stations on Sunday nights but moved to Saturday night (after Premiere Radio began to syndicate Matt Drudge) and then dropped the program entirely. It is now heard over the Internet exclusively.
Dreamland continues to focus on many of the same topics as its sister program, although often with a more spiritual point-of-view, as well as an increased emphasis on extra-terrestrials.
The name Dreamland was, in fact, at one time a radio call sign for the control tower at the The Air Force's Operating Location Near Groom Lake, Nevada, as described by the government in legal documents, but more commonly known as Area 51.
Other Coast To Coast AM greats To Listen for:
Ian Punnett has been exploring the night regularly on Coast to Coast AM since 1998. Punnett is what many call the shinning the star of the program. Witty and fun to listen to. In fact, if Coast to Coast were a branch of the military, Ian would be a veteran reservist having served alongside every Coast to Coast host in the show's history. For years, even while performing his own daily talk show and attending seminary, Ian hosted Sunday night's "Coast to Coast AM with Ian Punnett" until leaving for a new talk radio project in the Twin Cities and making way for George Noory.
George Knapp is a 14-time Emmy Award-winning journalist whose reporting on Nevada’s infamous Area 51 military base was selected by UPI as Best Individual Achievement by a Reporter (1989). Other awards include the Associated Press’s Mark Twain Award for news writing and the Edward R. Murrow Award for Investigative Reporting. George is an anchor and reporter for the CBS affiliate KLAS-TV in Las Vegas and he also writes a weekly column for a Las Vegas newspaper.
Additionally, George hosts Coast to Coast AM on the third and fourth Sundays of the month.
The radio show publishes a newsletter for subscribers called After Dark. It discusses matters covered on the show in greater detail.
With your ghostly hosts Kris and Mike Baker and Co-Host: Sheila Clark
Join husband and wife team, Kris and Mike, every Sunday night at 9:30 EST as they discuss anything and everything paranormal with various members of the paranormal community. Even though they have a lot in common and are both paranormal investigators, Kris believes that ghosts exist and that we have just not yet been able to provide concrete evidence and not sure if we ever will, Mike on the other hand has never had a paranormal experience and thinks that they could exist but he has never seen anything to convince him that they do.
Don't forget to join in the live chat room where you can "talk" with other listeners during the LIVE show. We be watching the chat room and answer questions from there.
Kris was born and raised in Ontario, Canada; She moved to Lafayette, Indiana in 1998 where she currently resides with her husband Michael. Kris is a retail manager and has been with her current employer since 1999.
Kris became interested in the paranormal at a young age when unexplainable occurrences happened in the house that her mother rented. Her interest has now become somewhat of an obsession as she is constantly researching and learning about the paranormal. Since the paranormal is not an exact science there are several opinions and points of view to consider, so you are never done learning.

Ed is the Great Grandson of a Native American and a Hedge Wytch that began his personal quest for knowledge in his early teens while preaching as a Lutheran Youth Appointed Minister. In an effort to expand his mind, body and spirit he began a personal quest for answers he was not finding answers too using mainstream methods. He quickly found himself studying Buddhism through the teachings of the Shaolin Temple. This led him to the more esoteric form of Buddhism known as Tendai Mikkyo that eventually resulted in his obtaining the rank of sixth kyu in Ninpo Mikkyo, the mystic and esoteric knowledge of Japan 's legendary mountain warrior mystics.
Now living in South Florida, Ed is a independent investigator, researching ufology, ghosts, cryptozoology, radio talk show host and executive producer on the subjects. He is also an ordained Wytch in the Order of Occultist, Ordained High Priest in the Temple of Wicca and an Ordained Healer with a Doctorate of Divinity for his work in the field of mysticism and magick. He currently offers lectures, classes and seminars on Magick and the "Para"Normal. But, don't let his spiritual side fool you. Ed is a retired Veterinary Assistant and a U.S. Army veteran having a Secret Clearance in the U.S. Army. He has a firm scientific background and healthy skeptical viewpoint along with a willingness to keep an open mind. Already a recognized expert, speaker and author in the field of Hepetological research and medicine, he began to make every effort to bring his interests in the "Para"normal to the mainstream by taking his message of, "wake up world" the "para"normal is just simply normal, to the general public through his five time weekly radio program, Magick Magick Mind Radio.
Ed had his first unusual encounter with a "hairy creature" as a young Boy Scout in South Florida. Since his initial encounter with the unknown, he has experienced strange lights in the South Eastern States and Apparitions in graveyards across the Eastern U.S. including the wytches graveyard in Salem MA, strange occurances in homes and businesses during investigations, stood on the Pyramid of the Sun at the ruins of Teotihuican in Mexico, traveled through and investigated the Burmuda Triangle, learned remote viewing and mind control methods of ancient warrior traditions of Japan, witnessed exoteric Buhdist practices in Korea, and many more "para"normal phenomena. In spite of experiencing all these things with his own senses and personally investigating and researching them, he still searches for proof that these and other occurances are not "para"normal, but just plain normal for benefit of the rest of the world. His experiences and research have taken him on a very different path to discover the "Real Truth". He truely believes that the truth at best is just a "partial journey"?
A retired Veterinary Assistant and full-time independent investigator of the unknown, and a member of Team I Am Haunted investigative team. Ed has been interviewed on radio talk shows, online magazines, national news print, and on an international book on subjects of Magick and the "Para"Normal. He is also an author and well known authority in the field of Herpetoculture, having been interviewed on t.v. and newsprint, both locally and nationally on the subject. He has become known to listeners as "The Velvet Voice", but is actually "The Madmind" behind Magick Mind Radio, he is the Owner, Host and Executive Producer and currently spends his time still exploring and investigating the unknown while sharing his encounters and experiences with others during his nightly radio program. Sometimes deliberatley indirect, sometimes humorous, somtimes sarcastic, but always has a method to his apparent "madness". Tune in and enjoy the ride yourself and explore the unknown along the way.
Magick Mind Paranormal Research Radio is the brainchild of its founding host & executive producer Ed Craft and began broadcasting over the internet in late 2003. It has become one of the most popular & immitated Paranormal Talk Radio Shows on the air anywhere to date. Ed invites you to join himself and his handpicked team of hosts every Monday thru Friday at 8-9pm Eastern Time/ 5-6pm Pacific Time to share in the knowledge of the hosts and guests. If you are interested in Ufology, Cryptozoology, Haunting's, Demonology, Dreams, Angels, Near Death Experiences, Ancient Mysteries, Atlantis, the Foundations of Human Origins, Out of Body Experiences, and many more aspects of the "un"known. Then, you have come to the right place.
Coleman writes on popular culture, animal mysteries, folklore, and cryptozoology and the editor of the Skeptical Inquirer has said that "[a]mong monster hunters, Loren's one of the more reputable". He has appeared on television and radio interviews about cryptids. He has written articles and books on cryptozoology and other Fortean topics. He was a publicity consultant on The Mothman Prophecies.
Coleman has carried out fieldwork throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico, regarding sightings, trace evidence, and Native peoples' traditions of Sasquatch/Windigo/Bigfoot. He has written on Yeti and Bigfoot expedition sponsor Tom Slick and appeared on NPR discussing the death of Grover Krantz. Coleman has won awards for this documentary and literary work.
Paraview Press introduced a series of books, "Loren Coleman Presents" in 2004. Coleman wrote introductions to volumes in the series.
International Cryptozoology Museum
Coleman established his International Cryptozoology Museum in 2003 in Portland, Maine.
Coleman contributed to the exhibition “Cryptozoology: Out of Time Place Scale,” shown at Bates College Museum of Art (June 24 - October 8, 2006) and at the H & R Block Artspace at the Kansas City Art Institute (October 28 - December 20, 2006). He delivered the keynote address, “An Introduction to Cryptozoology,” at the symposium at Bates College in October 2005,[citation needed] and gave a similar talk at the American Museum of Natural History in 2007.
Coleman is also a contributor/coauthor to the 2006 Bates exhibition catalogue and book, Cryptozoology: Out of Time Place Scale (JRP/Ringier Books, Switzerland, 2006). He also wrote the essay “Cryptids” for Alexis Rockman (Monacelli Press, 2005).
Bigfoot' Press Conference
Researcher Ruben Uriarte appeared briefly at the start of the program to comment on Friday's lackluster 'Bigfoot' news conference held by Matt Whitton, Rick Dyer, and a self-proclaimed Sasquatch hunter. Uriarte was immediately followed by mask and prop maker Chuck Jarman, who said the dead Bigfoot 'body' is a costume that he sculpted for a Halloween company two years ago.
Noted cryptozoologist Loren Coleman joined George for the rest of the first half of the show to provide his analysis of the 'Bigfoot' press conference. Coleman said they should have rolled out the body today, or at the very least brought in photos of the feet and the scientists who are examining the creature. Coleman questioned the use of Russian scientists for the autopsy, noting that there are plenty of capable scientist in North America. He also pointed out several contradictions, including the fishy timeline and Whitton's claim to be a Bigfoot skeptic despite an earlier admission that he had dreamed about being a Bigfoot researcher since childhood.
Coleman confirmed Jarman's claim that the creature shown in the Whitton and Dyer photos is very likely a costume. According to Coleman, unless a bigfoot in north Georgia served as a model for the mask maker, it's a costume. Coleman also spoke about the DNA tests. The first test was inconclusive. The second showed human DNA and the third test came back as the DNA of an opossum. He theorized that the opossum DNA could be from the entrails seen in the photo. Coleman suggested the 'Bigfoot' photos and press conference are part of an elaborate money-making scheme.

The "Encounters Paranormal Radio Series" airs live across South Florida every Sunday evening at 9PM Eastern Standard Time. The show is broadcast on AM1230 WBZT throughout Southeast Florida, including Miami/Dade, Fort Lauderdale and Boca Raton, Delray and Boynton Beach, West Palm Beach and Belle Glade. The average listening audience of the station is between 40,000 to 50,000 people. The show is hosted by paranormal researcher and haunting survivor Tim Yancey, his wife the ever lovely and wonderful, Trish Yancey and The primo paranormal investigator the great Jason Gowin.
At a young age, Tim Yancey and his brother had frightening encounters with an entity in the woods near his home, which began a haunting that his family and some friends endure to this day. It was the catalyst for his interest and passion in the paranormal, and he now has over 35 years of research and investigations in violent paranormal phenomenon.
Tim honed his investigative skills while serving five years as a ambulance medic, and working for the Lake Worth Police Department. He also served as a counselor with the Childrens Youth and Family Services in Florida for six years. He has investigated some of the most famous haunting locations in the United States including the Bell Witch property, Appomattax and Gettysburg, The "Amityville Horror" Haunting and The Devil's Tramping Ground.
Tim is a much sough-after public speaker on the topic of violent hauntings, his personal family experiences having placed him at the forefront of vast knowledge on the subject. He has spoken at Colleges and Universities, paranormal conferences and conventions around the country on the subject of violent hauntings. He is the webmaster of "The Official Amityville Horror Website" which he created with his good friend George Lutz and is currently in pre-production with Steve LaChance, Denice Jones and the Booth Brothers on a three-part reality epic entitled "Haunted Survivors".
Throughout her youth, Trish Yancey was regularly visited by what her young mind believed was her Guardian Angel. Encounters with this being were quite comforting and beautiful, though never discussed within her family. Always a fun mystery as well, her father would quite frequently tell everyone who was on the phone and who they were calling for .... before the phone rang. Strangely enough (in retrospect), this too was simply accepted within the family, but never delved into. These things gave Trish the strongly held belief that paranormal occurrences were probably very common for others, and that they were both enjoyable and helpful. Sheltered from 'dark' images and films, it wasn't until later years that she discovered that some paranormal events can leave many haunted, terrified and emotionally scarred.
Jason Gowin started his interest in the paranormal as a mere child watching Scooby-Doo and Ghostbusters. The seeds these shows planted would later sprout him going to the local library as a kid and picking up every book he could on ghosts, demons and strange occurrences. But it wasn’t until meeting his former teammates from Ghost Hunters, Incorporated that he began to look for the spooks that spooked in the night.
Stanton Terry Friedman (July 29, 1934) is a professional ufologist, currently residing in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada. He is the original civilian investigator of the Roswell incident. He originally studied physics at the University of Chicago and worked as a nuclear physicist on Research and Development projects for several large companies. He is a dual citizen of the US and Canada.
In 1970 Friedman departed full-time employment as a physicist to pursue the scientific investigation of UFOs. Since then, he has lectured at more than 600 colleges and 100 professional groups in 50 states, nine provinces, and 16 foreign countries. Additionally, he has worked as a consultant on the topic. He has published more than 80 UFO related papers and has appeared on many radio and television programs. He has also provided written testimony to Congressional hearings and appeared twice at the United Nations.
Friedman used to refer to himself as "The Flying Saucer Physicist" due to his degrees in nuclear physics and work on nuclear projects [4]. Friedman has consistently favoured use of the term flying saucer in his work, saying "Flying saucers are, by definition, unidentified flying objects, but very few unidentified flying objects are flying saucers. I am interested in the latter, not the former.

Meet the people of Ghostly Talk
Doug (a/k/a "Skizz") has been interested in paranormal topics ever since checking out a book about witchcraft from his elementary school library. He has read many books about paranormal subjects, with his favorite topics being out of body experiences, Edgar Cayce, ESP, prophesy, and ghosts. While surfing the internet in 2001, he was happy to learn that other folks actually went prowling about cemeteries and haunted places looking for ghosts. Since then, he has been an avid ghost hunter. Doug had done terrestrial radio before at WTWR, the station at the University of Detroit. He received his Bachelor's degree in Management Sciences and Information Systems from the University of Detroit. Upon meeting Scott L on ghost hunts, Doug suggested doing an internet talk show about ghost hunting. The premier of Ghostly Talk in February 2002 streamed to a total listening audience of one (1) computer, though two (2) people were listening. Doug continues to ghost hunt and co-host Ghostly Talk from Fraser, Michigan, a suburb of Detroit.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Detroit, MI, Scott L. became interested in the paranormal as a young child when he bought his first book 'Haunted Houses' by Larry Kettelkamp at a garage sale for $.25. Intrigued and frightened by this book, Scott L. developed an adolescent interest in the paranormal that rooted itself firmly into the little boys mind through the present day:
"For a while, with college going on and being a professional musician, I didn't have time to really pursue the paranormal field as extensively as I wanted to."
It was when Scott L graduated from Wayne State University with a major in Operational Logistics and minor in Information Systems Development that he now had the time to pursue his passion.
How did he get into radio though? 'Honestly, I have wanted to do radio for a very long time. I had some downtime from playing music about 5 years ago, and it was a something that went through my mind a lot. Unfortunately, I had no contacts at the time to break in and try to pursue it. When I met Doug after doing a lot of ghosthunting and talking about the paranormal, he asked if I wanted to try to do an internet talk show on the subject(s), I jumped at the opportunity.'
In addition to being one of the creators of Ghostly Talk, Scott L. is the webmaster/caretaker for the now defunct speed metal band Holy Terror.
'To Do The Dream Is Not A Dream, It Is A Must.' -Scott L.

In 1975, Hopkins and Ted Bloecher studied a multiple-witness UFO report, the North Hudson Park UFO sightings which occurred in New Jersey. In 1976, the Village Voice printed Hopkins' account of the investigation.
Hopkins began receiving regular letters from other UFO witnesses, including a few cases of what would later be called "missing time": inexplicable gaps in one's memory, associated with UFO encounters.
With Bloecher and psychologist Aphrodite Clamar, Hopkins began investigating the missing time experiences, and eventually came to conclude that the missing time cases were due to alien abduction.
By the late 1980s, Hopkins was one of the most prominent people in ufology, earning a level of mainstream attention that was nearly unprecedented for the field. He established the non-profit Intruders Foundation 1989 to publicize his research.
Hopkins has written several popular books about abductees, notably Missing Time, and is the founder of the Intruders Foundation, a non-profit organization created to document and research alien abductions, and to provide support to abductees.
For roughly the first seven years of his investigation of the abduction phenomenon, Hopkins himself conducted no hypnosis sessions. Rather, he secured the aid of licensed professionals. He notes that three of these therapists (Drs. Robert Naiman, Aphrodite Clamar and Girard Franklin) were quite skeptical of the reality of abduction claims, yet all uncovered detailed abduction scenarios from their patients. (Hopkins, 218)
Controversy has been a persistent feature of Hopkins' career in alien abduction and UFO studies. While few seem to doubt Hopkin's motives or sincerity, critics charge that Hopkins is out of his element when he uses hypnosis, thereby aiding his subjects in confabulation: the blending of fact and fantasy. However, Hopkins insists such criticism is specious. He writes, "I have often frequently invited interested therapists, journalists and academics to observe hypnosis sessions. Theoretical psychologist Nicholas Humphrey, who has held teaching positions at both Oxford and Cambridge Universities, and psychiatrist Donald. F. Klein, director of research at the New York State Psychiatric Institute and professor of psychiatry at the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Columbia University, are but two of those who have observed my work firsthand. None of these visitors ... have reported anything that suggested I was attempting to lead the subjects." (Hopkins, 238-239)
The 1992 film Intruders was based on Hopkins' research, and portrayed abduction scenes. Additionally, Hopkin's 1996 novel, "Witnessed," portrays a classic abduction case that occurred in late 1989 near the Brooklyn Bridge in New York City. This case is unique in that it is one of the first publicized episodes that involved multiple abductees (who did not previously know each other) that come to know each other in the "real" world through a variety of circumstances connected to their abductions. Additionally, this case involved inter-generational abductions within the same family.

Robert M. Hunnicutt
A ghostly encounter 33 years ago in an Arizona theater was the beginning of Bob Hunnicutt’s journey into the world of the ghosts and hauntings. A theater ghost challenged his notions of the existence of life after death and helped him realize that science could not easily explain everything.

The Late John Alva Keel (born Alva John Kiehle on March 25, 1930 and died July 3, 2009) was a Fortean author and professional journalist.
Fortean Picture Library John Keel was a controversial UFO theorist who espoused the strange UFO theory of ether ships.
Keel wrote professionally from the age of 12, and was best known for his writings on unidentified flying objects, the "Mothman" of West Virginia, and other paranormal subjects. Keel was arguably one of the most widely read and influential ufologists since the early 1970s..Although his own thoughts about UFOs and associated anomalous phenomena gradually evolved since the mid 1960s, Keel remained one of ufology's most original and controversial researchers. It was Keel's second book, UFOs: Operation Trojan Horse (1970), that popularized the idea that many aspects of contemporary UFO reports, including humanoid encounters, often paralleled ancient folklore and religious encounters. Keel coined the term "men in black" to describe the mysterious figures alleged to harass UFO witnesses[3]and he also argued that there is a direct relationship between UFOs and psychic phenomena. He did not call himself a ufologist and preferred the term Fortean, which encompasses a wide range of paranormal subjects.

GEORGE NOORY
George Ralph Noory (born June 4, 1950) is an American radio talk show host.
George Noory
George Noory, host of the nationally syndicated program, Coastto Coast AM, says if he weren’t a national radio talk show host he’d be in politics. Heard by millions of listeners, Coast To Coast AM airs on approximately 500 stations in the U.S., Canada, Mexico and Guam.
While hosting The Nighthawk, a wildly successful, late-night program on KTRS in St. Louis, Noory was recruited by Premiere Radio Networks to guest host on Coast to Coast AM with Art Bell. He became the permanent host of the phenomenally successful over-night program on January 1, 2003, following Bell’s retirement. Since then, Noory’s audience has continued to grow.
Noory captivates program listeners with his discussions of paranormal phenomena, time travel, alien abductions, conspiracies and all things curious and unexplained. He is driven, he has said, by the desire to solve the great mysteries of our time. From his first days as a radio broadcaster he says, “I’ve wanted to cover stories that the mainstream media never touch—the unusual, the paranormal and things like that. I learned that broadcast was the best business for exploring these issues, and I’ve been doing it for 33 years.”
He dates his interest in these matters to a book by Walter Sullivan, We Are Not Alone, that his mother gave him when he was 13. He was hooked.
Prior to his late-night show on KTRS, Noory had an extensive broadcast career. He started in radio at WCAR-AM in Detroit where his first-ever interview was with nuclear physicist and UFO expert Stanton Friedman. From 1974-1978, he served as news producer and executive news producer at WJBK-TV. At age 28, he became the youngest major market news director in the country at KMSP-TV in Minneapolis.
Noory was also the director of news planning and development at KSTP-TV in Minneapolis, was news director at KSDK-TV in St. Louis and the recipient of three Emmy Awards while a news executive.
He was born, raised and educated in Detroit. He has three children and three grandchildren. He served nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve.
Coast to Coast AMis the most listened to overnight radio program in the country and is broadcast live, Monday-Sunday from 1-5 a.m. ET.
As of 2009, he is the weekday host of the late-night radio talk show Coast to Coast AM. He is heard across the United States and Canada on many AM, FM and XM Satellite Radio. His show is one of the most listened to overnight programs. The program is syndicated by Premiere Radio, a division of Clear Channel Communications.
Noory was born in Detroit, Michigan, but he grew up in Dearborn Heights. He now resides in Los Angeles, California and occasionally broadcasts from, and frequently mentions on air, St. Louis, Missouri. Noory has more than 37 years of broadcasting experience.
Noory became a guest host for Coast to Coast AM before replacing Ian Punnett as the Sunday night host. His first show was on April 28 2001. On January 1, 2003, Noory took over week-night hosting duties from Art Bell, who had again decided to retire. On January 21, 2006, it was announced that Bell would return to Coast to Coast AM on Saturdays and Sundays, replacing Punnett on Saturdays, and Noory on the first two Sundays of the month. Bell returned to the air waves January 22, 2006 following his wife's death on January 5, 2006. While Punnett went on to host the Coast to Coast Live spin-off on Saturday nights, Noory remained the week-night host. With Noory as host and Art Bell doing the weekends, Coast to Coast AM remained one of the most listened to late night talk radio shows.
Noory has repeatedly announced on-air that he is committed to remaining the principal host of "Coast" until at least 2012, a year frequently called the so-called "Doomsday". His commitment is substantiated by a long-term contract with Premiere Radio Networks, a subsidiary of Clear Channel Communications which also produces radio programs for Rush Limbaugh, Dr. Laura, and Glenn Beck. Noory has stood by his foreboding notion that 2012 will be a year of calamitous change on a global scale.
Since then, Noory recently retracted his admission of staying on until 2012. On the August 17, 2007 broadcast, George Noory made a statement during the third hour that he had a meeting a few weeks ago with Premiere Radio Networks outlining his tenure. He stated that he wishes to sign another five year contract in 2012, extending his hosting duties until about 2017.

In the basement of Ian Punnett's childhood home, a step ladder led to the entrance of a dark crawl space that ran under the back porch. This creepy, lightless hole was just tall enough for a small boy to stand up in, so whenever it was time to retrieve some boxes like Christmas decorations or summer clothing, young Ian would be called upon to breach the blackness.
Armed only with a flashlight to battle the ghosties and ghoulies and all the other creatures he imagined lived in that hole, Ian would bravely step into the unknown whenever duty called.
With that same spirit, Ian Punnett has been exploring the night regularly on Coast to Coast AM since 1998.
Back home again every Saturday night, Ian once more will make his way up the step ladder, flashlight in hand to search for everything that can be discovered after dark.
Reapsow first emerged into the paranormal in 2007, when he stepped in to defend a friend who was being attacked by the late Paranormal Police. This is where his gift to write, along with his ability to bring stupidity to the surface with a comedic flare, that he began to build a name for himself. He stood up for those being unjustly crucified, and spoke his mind, and people liked this new insight into the community. People quickly learned that Reap had a way of capturing your attention that no one had ever done before. People had begun to flock to his blogs, and his popularity grew in the community. This opened up the door to Reapsowradio which had begun to air in October of 2007.
The Reap Radio Network is a 24/7 stream that is comprised of some of the best podcasters, broadcasters, DJs, and listeners you will find on the net.
We mix quality talk radio with a variety of quality music to
make for always enjoyable Internet radio.

New series UFO Hunters searches for explanations to sightings and reports from the archives of UFO Magazine.
www.history.com/content/ufohunters
Ghost Hunters producers Craig Pilligan and Tom Thayer released another paranormal investigation series titled UFO Hunters which first aired on January 30, 2008, however the show only aired one episode. The show followed New York Strange Phenomena Investigators (NY-SPI) co-founders Oliver Kemenczky and Ted Davis, along with paranormal researcher Dennis Anderson, as they investigate claims of alien encounters and UFO sightings. The format was similar to Ghost Hunters with most of the program dedicated to the investigation and wrapped up with a review of findings and evidence that was gathered.[11] This series should not be confused with the History Channel series with the same name. The pilot episode was reformatted and returned on December 13, 2008 as a special called Ny-Spi Investigates on Investigation Discovery.
The show follows numerous forensic investigations (referred to as "cases" in the beginning of each episode) led by William J. Birnes and his team of experts: researcher and scuba diver Pat Uskert, mechanical engineer and MIT researcher Ted Acworth, and investigative biologist Jeff Tomlinson. In the second season, Tomlinson departed. In the third season, Acworth was replaced by mechanical engineer Kevin Cook, who lends a far more skeptical point of view to the investigation.
In each episode, the team investigates reports of unidentified aerial phenomena in which they interview witnesses of close encounters with UFOs, USOs, and supposed extraterrestrial life. They also analyze any evidence collected such as photographs, video, or recovered physical material. They also conduct research with other investigators and scientists in the field in an attempt to find conclusive evidence that a report is real or a hoax. The show also investigates long-standing UFO cases such as the Roswell, New Mexico UFO crash incident and other famous sightings throughout history.
The show should not be confused with another show with the same title, which premiered for a single episode on the same day and time on the Sci Fi Channel.

Waugh also paints many spiritual and common murals and lives in a small Texas town with her three dogs. She also over the years makes ceremonial candles and is active in ghost hunting in the deep South. Summoning the dead to communicate with the living is a natural daily occurrence for Waugh. "I have been doing this since I was a child." " When I lived in Galveston, Texas about 15 years ago, I was introduced to the ancient rights of ceremonial Necromancy as a ritual by a great shaman called Freebird, and because of him and his diligence to the art, I still practice it until this day." "However, if a spirit has something vital to impart to you, they will call upon you, not vice-versa and no ritual is needed".
