Are you really haunted? Do you crave the attention that comes from the entire world scrutinizing your paranormal evidence?

At one time I certainly did. And even now I consider myself still a person looking for answers to the supernatural things that I encounter. Yes I ghost hunt and invite into my life the things that others only dare to think about. And if that's what it takes to get famous then I am not really trying to do that by my Necromantic research.

But as far as famous I do not consider myself as such. "Just well noticed!"

I am called the " Great American Texan Necromancer." "And I hope to prove to the world that I am!"

But if you have your sites set as being the next big famous Ghostbuster in history I suggest you should go for it!

The more you do the more people notice you. No matter how smart, admired or talented you are, it doesn't matter. Paranormal fame, acclaim, or recognition does not come to all those that truly seek it out. And to many it does not come to them until they cross over.

There are many ways to become famous. There are famous athletes, famous politicians, famous cooks, famous artists, famous musicians, famous actors, and more. This article focuses on how to become famous in the paranormal entertainment industry.

The words paranormal fame and famous are used in many contexts, most of them inspired by the concept of celebrity hood. Or the fact that the reputation of a certain location thing or person is haunted. It also refers to those of us that put ourselves out front exploring our evidence and asking others to judge it for themselves.

I guess everyone needs recognition just to prove to themselves that they are on the right track and their beliefs are not a sign that they are truly insane.

The recently deceased Great man named Hanz Holzer now joins the list to the all time great in Paranormal research writings, documentation and discovery. He joins the many Ghost Hunting greats like Ed Warren, Sybil Leek, Sir Author Conan Doyle, and many, many others from centuries past.

But what makes a individual become noticed in the field of paranormal research or really noted as great? Respected by his peers and renowned by all as truly being great. It might be diligence, or how many books one writes. or is it the fact they they two are a paranormal enigma? Look at Scifi's ghost Hunters are they really considered to be great?

Their evidence, document ion findings? Or the fact that they kept searching out the truth to all that others disbelieve. Or that they were brave enough to research something and try to prove it as real.

Many ghost Hunters today try to become well known but many do not have the exposure that Jason Hawes and Grant Wilson have each week. By the time the show goes into syndication They will be heralded as the pioneers of Ghost Hunting around the world.

This we know will ruffle many feathers in the great haunted world community but it is a fact that we all will all see happen. The arguments that people like Steve Gonzalves or Dave Tango, and Brian Harnois or better suited investigators. And the books, web sites, articles interviews, and lectures and all they do in the future will always be set by Jason and Grants high standards.

People will debate what they believe is, or is not truth, and stand by their many deep convictions. But because of this they are famous in the paranormal world. And after they are dead and gone their names will live on forever as the pioneers of ghosts and all that is haunted.

In life things end in a moment, and the fear of not having anything more affects us all. Some people many just want to experience the paranormal at certain points and times in their lives just as a thrill or a new experience. Still others want to know for certain that their religious beliefs are so supported about an afterlife they wish to contact the dead to affirm to them the existence of the other side. Doctrine tells us that the afterlife is there, but many ask is it real. And those that believe in ghosts their for believe in heaven, hell, angels, demons and most certainly the Devil and God. To not believe in a ghost means to not believe in any of the before mentioned, then to say what proof of all this do we have but faith.

How can you say ghost exist unless you try to experience it yourself? If you are not willing to try, then you have no factual basis for your conclusion. To put this another way, don't decide it before you try it. All beliefs come from a experience. Many believe people for their word, others not so trusting simply need to be shown. And still more do not believe what they see even if it shoved in their face.

In all fairness who or what gives a particular person the right to deem something authentic, genuine or real paranormal. A scientist will look to the heavens through a telescope, see a new star. Photograph it then take the photo bring it to everyone and say here is a new star. Also giving their papers of maps and co-ordinates, thus the scientific example of proof.

But what if someone goes back and checks and the star is not there? Does this result mean he is wrong? Someone else goes and looks and it's there? So who becomes the judge and has the last qualifying decision?

A Skeptic is one who instinctively or habitually doubts, questions, or disagrees with assertions or generally accepted conclusions.

Many paranormal people devote their time to posting blogs building web sites and exposing their Paranormal Information on line. They post photos and spread their name every way they can. Some individuals want to be writers so they plaster their stories their mugs on every site they can. They strive to get interviews, and as much exposure as they can. They hold paranormal seminars, workshops and answer all the questions emailed to them.

Sharing services like YouTube and MySpace (also called "social media" or "Web 2.0") are great fun, and it's easy to spend hours and hours looking at other people's funny or serious ghost hunting evidence presented in videos.

Just because you see a ghost or document one doesn't make you famous. Or does it?

But let's be paranomally realistic and keep a few things in mind:

There are hundreds of paranormal evidence, teaching ghost hunting 101 and videos on YouTube. Making a haunted ghost filled or bigfoot, or chupacabra video that stands out is really challenging.

Most of the videos that get noticed on YouTube are there because they are absurd, silly, gross, or have some kind of novelty value. Ghost videos prove something or actually nothing. The same goes for reported real ghost photos and their reality.

YouTube is there for entertainment purposes - it is not a professional tool and it is not geared towards the paranormal entertainment industry. It is highly unlikely that casting directors are trolling the videos looking for the next big thing to haunt TV, cable or a haunted documentary.

This is not to say that YouTube is useless. By all means, if you have videos of yourself hunting for cryptids, ghosts or exposing a paranormal phenomena that reflect well on you and might "catch on" there's no harm in posting them on MySpace or YouTube or any other sites.
