It's not haunted it's a Miracle!

Stories of bleeding statues and Icons have been around for many centuries. now a days it is not just paintings but actual posters and prints also. We often hear these stories during lent each year and most often how the public reacts.

Never have I ever heard of these religious objects being debunked by paranormal investigators or The vatican itself. The only thing that often happens with the items is once the story is told the object is removed and hidden away.

I believe in God and in Holy Miracles as this. I have never seen a crying or bleeding icon but would love to investigate one in real life not over the internet or through the news. I do think this is paranormal realms to openly investigate.

Why would a ghost attach it self to it's portrait? Or a copy of it's ? Vanity? Or because it is all that is left of who they were and what they believed in? And what about the miracles attributed to Holy or religious images?

Jesus Bleeds

PORT BLAIR, India Thousands of people are flocking to a policeman's house in India's remote Andaman Islands to pray in front of two portraits of Jesus Christ, which are said to have been "bleeding" for the past two weeks, police and witnesses said.

Eric Nathaniel, a police radio operator, found red fluid trickling down a portrait of Jesus in his house two weeks ago which he believed was blood.

"We lit candles and prayed all night and a little later the blood dried but it soon started trickling down from the hands and heart of another portrait in the house," Nathaniel told Reuters in the islands' capital Port Blair on Wednesday.

Mary Mother Of God

This print of the virgin Mary refused to be photographed. the owner wanted to put it up for sale on ebay but the haunted print refused to be sold!

I was taking pictures to sell my great grandmothers Sacred Heart Mary print on Ebay. When I pulled the pictures to to get them ready I found two with what I feel is my great grandmother's ghost. said Melvin.

I really don't remember her, but I have been told by several older family members that she treasured this above anything else. (She always felt God's and Mary's presence when she looked at it). Now, I don't put much stock into things that are based on a feeling, do you think she is telling me not to sell it or to sell it? I feel that it may have been connected to an evil spirit when she owned it that may have tricked her into believing it was Holy intervention and now she is warning me about it's evil.

The Weeping and Bleeding Statue in Bolivia

This famous image of Christ shed tears of human blood During Holy Week of 1995, the miraculous occurrence took place repeatedly during the recital of the Rosary. Since then, the number of devotees to the Crying Christ have grown to around a thousand, one hundred of which were standing in front of the statue when its eyes shed tears. The watery liquid afterward transformed into a blood-like substance that gives an impressive countenance on the face of Christ.. This weeping icon is closely associated with the visionaries Catalina Rivas and Nancy Fowler.

"Since 1995, various scientific studies of the icon have taken place, the conclusions of which are astounding and underline the fact that Cochabamba has fast become the center of a supernatural event. Recordings have been made of the crying, samples have been taken and sent to the laboratory. And lastly, the statue itself has been subjected to computerised examination. A laboratory report put together in April 1995 outlined the fact that the liquid analysed was "hemoglobin, hetero protein of a red colour that exists in hematoid, or red globules."

During the production of the documentary, the statue wept on two occasions whilst the camera was rolling. The film footage of the tears falling is probably unparalleled in history. Within hours after the weeping, the statue was subjected to a CAT scan analysis which was filmed. That analysis showed that the statue was solid plaster with a void of air inside. No liquids or mechanisms were found inside it. If there was a perforation in the plaster at any point, even the thickness of a human hair, the CAT scan would have detected it.

-It was foretold by Saint Don Bosco that Jesus would leave a sign that he had been in Cochabamba, Bolivia
-The statue has been thoroughly tested and found not to be fraudulent
-The statue forms tears of human blood at the eyes that weep down the face, caught on camera in the video

-The blood contained a piece of thorn, identified as a thorn from the Hawthorne bush, believed to have been the type of thorn used to make the crown of thorns for Jesus of Nazareth.

BLEEDING JESUS STATUE CAUSED A STIR IN ALASKA

"A statue of a crucified Christ in the Yukon River valley village of Marshall (population 360) is caused a stir after villagers claimed it started bleeding."

"The statue began leaking from classic stigmata points on Sunday and Monday," April 11 and 12, 2004, "and has continued to do so, according to witnesses in the Yupik (indigenous Alaskan people--J.T.) village of 360 people."

"The 'miracle of Marshall' began during midnight Easter services" on Sunday, April 11, 2004, "at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church, said resident Maureen Fitka-Larson. She belongs to the local Russian Orthodox Church but has visited Immaculate Heart of Mary every day this week to pray and watch the statue."

"'You wouldn't see it dripping or anything, but over a period of time,' Fitka-Larson said, 'You go up and check

it the next day, you notice.'"

"It is unclear whether the statue had any painted blood as part of its original design, and church officials could not be reached for comment Friday," April 16, 2004.

"Word of the bleeding crucifix quickly spread up and down the (Yukon) river this week, and by Thursday," April 15, 2004, "pilgrimages had already begun."

"A spokesman for Hageland Aviation Service in nearby St. Marys, Alaska (population 500) said the company flew several charter flights over to Marshall this week for people wanting to see the statue."

"Religious statues and icons that allegedly bleed or weep pop up regularly all over the world (as readers of UFO Roundup are well aware--J.T.). They are dismissed by unbelievers as hoaxes, and the (Roman Catholic) Church usually keeps its distance from any claim of miracles."

"The Fairbanks Diocese on Friday sent copies of a letter signed by Bishop Donald Kettler to (Roman Catholic) parishes, saying a diocese representative visited the village 'and this person reports (along with other members of the village) that they could not tell if anything did or did not happen.'"

"'I will continue to gather information and will proceed slowly, carefully and prayerfully,' Kettler wrote."

THE TEARS OF CHRIST

According to hundreds of eyewitnesses, a painting of Jesus is weeping red tears. The painting is no ordinary icon for it hangs in the Bethlehem Church of the Nativity, above the very spot where Christ is said to have been born.

Many hundreds of Christian pilgrims, of all denominations, together with Jews and Muslims, say they have seen the tears. The weeping was first noticed by the 60 year old Muslim woman who cleans that part of the church every morning.

Sadika Hamdan told reporters that she was working alone in the shrine when suddenly " a light came from the column and the picture of the Messiah Jesus, peace be upon him, began to cry. It was beautiful, beautiful. He opened and closed his eye and later tears fell, red tears. At first, I was very frightened, and I wondered why Jesus was speaking out to me, a Muslim. But I went and got the brothers, and they saw it too, and we realised it was a miracle. I have been coming to this church for 22 years and it is the first time in history that I have seen such a sight."

A religious Poster Icon used in voodoo ritual to ward off hurricanes was said to have begun to cry three weeks before hurricane Katrina made landfall in New Orleans.

The huge poster which hangs over an altar in a private New Orleans French Quarter Voodooist home was reported to have begun crying real tears two weeks before Hurricane Katrina hit the Crescent City.

This Voudou ritual in New Orleans is specifically designed to summon the protection of the spirit world against the devastating hurricanes that often plough in from the Gulf of Mexico. It is dedicated to the Catholic Lady of Prompt Succor and to Ezili Danto, the Vodoun Lwa of Storms and Passion. In 2005 This particular poster owned Vera Leblanc began to cry. Very took it off the wall checked it out and could find no reason to why are where the tears were coming from. Not sure what it meant she contacted many local Voodoo High Priestess and paranormal investigators in the city. Lenlanc said she had bought the poster years ago from The Chicken man from his Voodoo shop on Bourbon Street. Chicken Man in fact had actually blessed the poster personally and told Vera that one day it might warn her of danger and that she should should heed it's warning.

Plans for a investigation were set in place for August 29th 2005, no one at the time thought Katrina would hit. And several locals actually went and saw the poster cry over the two weeks before the devistating storm hit. Each day tears would form and be seen coming from the eyes.

After returning from evacuation, Vera said the house received no damage and the painting had stopped crying, only the smeared marks are left as proof she says.
