ALYNE PUSTANIO
Folklorist and occultist Alyne Pustanio is a New Orleans whose roots go deep into the local culture; it is from that proverbial “gumbo” that she draws her inspiration for most of her tales of terror and fascination.

A descendant of Portuguese and Sicilian immigrant families who trace their ancestry to European Gypsies, Alyne was exposed to the mysteries of the occult at an early age. Two great-grandmothers were gifted and sought out mediums and another relative is a verified psychic, however, Alyne credits her mother – an avid spiritualist – with inspiring her lifelong interest in the supernatural and unexplained. When still a schoolgirl, Alyne accompanied her mother to spiritualist meetings and panels where she met some of the early paranormal greats such as Hans Holzer, Ed and Lorraine Warren, and Jeanne Dixon.
First-hand experiences with the world of the unseen (she has lived in haunted houses and around haunted people all her life) and her own intuitive nature caused her fascination with the paranormal to grow, and for more than half her life she has been a student of the occult. These interests, combined with her avocations in folklore and history, result in a validity and passion that is immediately obvious in all her writings. Some of her most colorful pieces, “The Zombie Child of New Orleans” among them, owe much to the rich supernatural heritage that steeps New Orleans; others, such as her essay on “Psychic Vampires” published in Doorways Magazine, are the product of harrowing real-life experiences. Essays such as her “Defense of Demons” are breaking new ground in the realm of paranormal investigation, changing pre-set notions and concepts about the real dangers of the supernatural realm.
Alyne has used her extensive knowledge of the occult, in particular the traditions of Western Ritual Magic, in her work as an Occult Analyst and Case Manager for groups such as Louisiana State Paranormal Research (LSPR) Society, Seekers of Unexplained Louisiana (SOUL), and New Orleans Paranormal and Occult Research Society (NOPORS). She is also frequently called upon by individuals across the United States, victims of attacks from the realm of the unseen, for information and guidance in cases of extreme hauntings or suspected demonic activity. In addition, Alyne coordinates the Paranormal and Unexplained track for Babel Con, a popular multi-genre convention held annually in Baton Rouge, LA; she also lectures on the paranormal and occult at Babel Con and other conventions in the South.
When she is not writing, developing material, or investigating, Alyne enjoys participating in Renaissance festivals and medieval faires throughout the South; she is the founder of her own tribe of Gypsies, “The Vitsa Hokano Baro,” which she describes as her own “living experiential discovery” of her Gyspy heritage. A November child, she loves dark, brooding, grey days, cold weather and thunderstorms; anything to do with the British Isles, the American Civil War and New York City; reads the works of Samuel Taylor Coleridge, Edgar Allan Poe, Christina Rosetti, and Tolkien, admires Milton, Blake and Machiavelli, and is a student of modern occult writers John Michael Greer, Michael Ford, and Dr. Joseph Liewsienski. Her favorite holiday is Halloween, her favorite color is black and she lives in New Orleans with her teenage daughter, two dogs and several cats.

"I became interested in the paranormal, when I was a child, around 10 years of age. I used to imagine that I had a ghost that would move my doll & unicorn collection around. I am sure now that it was my overactive imagination... Or was it?
23 years later I saw a full body apparition at a building in Sacramento and it solidified my belief in life after death."

I was also fortunate enough to go to Chichen Itza, Mexico with Showtime Television for the show "Bullshit" with Penn & Teller that aired July 2009. The show is on the incredible subject of "2012". This season I'll be on Monster Quest hunting for the Mothman"

GOLD RUSH GHOSTS
ROBERT REPPERT

ROBERT REPPERT, owner/founder of GOLD RUSH GHOSTS INTERNATIONAL PARANORMAL INVESTIGATIONS and the inspiration for the television show INVESTIGATING THE UNKNOWN (Channel 17 the 4th Wed. night of every month) has a motto he lives by, and it is “GOLD RUSH GHOSTS ~WHERE SCIENCE MEETS THE PARANORMAL.” Reppert has an extended history in research in all things paranormal which has extended for many years, starting in his teens.
I was 17 years of age and camping in the wood where a stream runs under a low small country bridge in the middle of a forest in California ” he told this reporter. My friend and I were just below the small bridge, which has just enough room for one car to pass. Camping that night we were, as all kids that age, looking for an adventure. This time we found one!
“The time was about 10:30 at night, and we were just getting comfortable laying out and hopping into our sleeping bags. We were just settling in, talking, telling tales and talking about girls as boys that age will do.
And then it happened.”
He stopped for a minute to recall in every detail of the events that followed. “It was not a well lit night, I can remember that, but there was enough of a moon that if you looked up you know what direction you were in. As we lay there talking my friend grabbed my arm and said ‘look…there!’ I am not certain if at that moment we were more curious, or frightened.
“Right before us coming directly upstream was a green ball about 2 feet in diameter. It came toward us slowly following the river’s path through the trees, inching its way in our direction from downstream. Without further conversation between us, we became still as lambs hoping it would not target or see us. As we watched, it made a slight turn for the right, and went slowly and directly under the bridge. Right in front of us and right after going under the bridge it quickly made a bee-line for the sky, going right overhead of us, faster than anything I had ever seen, and then it disappeared.”
The 17 year olds quickly packed up their gear and headed for home.
This was the incident however, to peak Reppert’s interest in all things strange and unknown. The next day he went back to that bridge to see if there was anything that would indicate what had happened the night before. All appeared to be normal. Over the years there have been several accounts such as his at this site. Recently, and once again, GRG/ITU investigated the same Bridge and forest area for our group and television show. The shots are there for you to see, activity was recorded, and yet the mystery remains.
Although the exact cause of this phenomena is still up for grabs Reppert knows he will solve this mystery, as well he has many others.
“I went into this business because it seemed that paranormal groups around here were looking for ghosts and goblins and werewolves and UFO’S and saying that everything they heard, explored or wrote about was phenomena. One group I can remember were media hounds, making a mockery of it all for the sake of publicity, giving falsified reports to television and radio stations, and an unsuspecting public. It really upset me, and I knew right then that there was a need for actuality in this business. It is certainly not a place for the novice, or person strictly looking for goose bumps out of boredom. There was a need for specifics and science to balance out the absurd. As we have now proven, the ratio is about one to every eight investigations that we go out on has a serious paranormal indication. The rest, through science and the best of all equipment we are able to assess as earthly explanation, and can put peoples minds to rest one way or the other. “
The bridge remains an enigma.
But being a paranormal investigator was not enough. Reppert had to have the BEST! He began investing in the finest paranormal equipment around, state-of-the-art, best in the world. Purchased equipment that proved to be bogus was quickly discarded. More was purchased. “I am always looking for the best there is” he told us. “I’m on a mission, and we are all about honesty.” Then a smile came over his face, “But don’t try and fool me with trying to sell faulty equipment” he said. “I clearly know the difference.” Today Reppert’s organization maintains over a million dollars (easy) of the finest equipment in the world, not to mention the equipment he himself has designed to hear, see and feel the spirits that are around. “If you have anything around you that is not of this living world” he said, “You can be certain we will find it.” Today Reppert and his organization can actually show you from your television screen where the ghosts and spirits are around you. He can show you with scientific equipment what EVP’s are actually from the other side, or which contain a different scenario of audio transference. “This phenomena, although I could go into a lot of theory” he said “Is where either the tape or digital recording transfers over to another place on the tape or digital file for just one explanation.” Another smile, “And then of course there are those that will say any noise is a “voice from the other side.”
Having a background in psychology, Reppert approaches the search with a logical point of view. “I have been researching the fields of Paranormal studies since before high school and have always been the one to look for the logical reasoning for what occurs in this world. I have also studied architecture, electricity, photography, building materials, and other things as a way of explaining some of the activity that may appear to be paranormal but has a logical explanation. Our group ONLY looks for and reports TRUTH. We are commissioned by government and private agencies to explore things that go bump in the night, as well as work with everyday folks in need of our services. In the world of paranormal groups on every site and street-corner, we stand out as reasonable, responsible, honest, and the oldest and largest paranormal group around.
Whether you see him in his “Ghost Mobile” Nissan truck, or the ‘Paddy car’, his 1951 Black Buick, Reppert can be an interesting person to be around. With a great sense of humor and excitement, he brings to the psychic/paranormal/ and still unknown world adventures of the spooky side. With one important bent… proving, TRUTH.
In PARANORMAL WORK with GOLD RUSH GHOSTS, that is a sure sign of FUN and ENLIGHTENMENT.

SIXTH SENSE WORLD
Do
You Believe
In Real Ghosts
And Hauntings?

Shannon S. Scott
Jones Street Productions, Inc
SixthSenseSavannah.com"Sixth Sense Savannah Ghost Tour" http://www.SixthSenseSavannah.com
6th Sense World to date, offers more specialty ghost, cemetery and ghost hunt styled tours in one city than any other company operating in the USA. Which in every respect, is a direct reflection of how much history along with continual demand for it, exists inside of Savannah, Georgia! More than just cashing in on an industry, 6th Sense World started in 1995 as a personal quest by founder Shannon Scott to more fully offer visitors an opportunity to go as deep with the place as possible! Most cities offering ghost & cemetery tours are, pardoning the expression, one horse ghost tour towns. They whet the visitor's imagination or worse, just surface skim, but go no further. 6th Sense World has radically changed the perception of what can be, by pushing itself ahead of the pack in terms of research, investigations and overall unique tour development! All for the sake of giving more of the strange, cosmic world that is Savannah, to those whom are fascinated by her! We challenge you to find a company doing more and offering more for one city with storytelling than 6th Sense World and we know you'll come up empty handed! All of our tours are living classrooms and we're supplying learning levels that range from curiosity seeker to ghost ivy league. Better yet, we don't do coupons or the cheapie cheap costume affair so if you're after a higher model ghost tour and one without what we'll politely term, "the bratty kid" or rude drunk syndrome? We're your ghost gig. We may cost more, but in the truest sense of the economic thought, we give you more. More research, more qualified narrators, longer & more in depth tours and more to remember and escalate your desire to open more of Savannah's darkest rooms with our other affairs.

ABOUT SHANNON SCOTT

Born in Terra Haute, IN and native of Rantoul, Illinois, Shannon Scott arrived to Savannah, GA to study fine arts at The Savannah College of Art & Design and has been a tour guide since 1989. At age 25, he opened his own publishing company, Jones Street Productions Inc, and published the city’s most advanced and specialized maps and travel guides. He has taken an active stand for “better information” for visitors and locals alike through his many endeavors. His fervid love for Savannah’s history began with pioneering the first tours focusing on women’s history, architecture, Civil & Revolutionary Wars, and an entire tour just dealing with Savannah's River Street. This broadbased understanding of the Low Country ultimately added to the richness of his ghost stories. In 1999, Scott became a part of the creative team responsible for the Fox Family Channel Hit, “Scariest Places On Earth” hosted by Linda Blair (The Exorcist) & narrated by Zelda Rubenstein (Poltergeist). He served as story researcher and produced a number of episodes for the Southeast. In 2002, he organized the first annual parapsychology conference for the country’s most recognized field research group, The American Institute of Parapsychology, and personally received the group’s highest honorarium of “America’s Most Haunted City”™ on behalf of the City of Savannah. He was further honored with being made Georgia Sectional Director of The A.I.P. The city’s receiving the honor became the largest worldwide news story to hit Savannah since the publishing success, Midnight In The Garden of Good and Evil. In 2005, “The New York Times” voted Sixth Sense Savannah as the only tour company among its “Top 10 Things To Do When In Savannah” A followup in 2007 from The New York Times” once more complimented his 2nd touring venture America’s Most Haunted City™ as its pick for a top shelf family driven tour. The same year, Scott sold documentary production rights to, America’s Most Haunted City - Part One and is slated for release in Fall of 2009. The 2 hour documentary represents over 10 years of research and film record. Shannon believes the story is history in the making as its the first time an insider has shared Savannah's stories with the outside world using such a medium. Scott served as Executive Producer, narrator, interviewer and on camera host.
2009 marked another pivotal year as Scott joined forces with writer Dr. Tony Chiorazzi and composer Edwin Brown in forming Bonaventure Film Studios. Brown composed the original soundtrack for America's Most Haunted City - Part One, while Chiorazzi is a major film studio screenplay author now living in Savannah. Together, Scott and Chiorazzi are on the verge of producing several projects, putting their first feature film into production called The Cemetery in Spring of 2010.
