Pazuzu was an Assyrian and Babylonian demonic god of the first millennium BC. He normally has a dog-like face like here, and where his body is depicted he has a scaly torso, a snake-headed penis, the talons of a bird and usually wings. He is often regarded as an evil underworld demon, but he seems also to have played a beneficent role as a protector against disease-bearing winds (especially the west wind). He was closely associated with the demoness Lamashtu who stole babies from their mother's womb or when newly born. Pazuzu acted to counter her evil: he forced her back to the underworld. Amulets of Pazuzu like this were therefore placed in windows hung inside and out of dwellings, attached to bedroom furniture. Smaller versions were hung around the necks of pregnant women. An unidentified flying object,
or UFO, is any real or apparent flying object
which cannot be identified by the observer
and which remains unidentified after investigation.
In popular culture, UFO is often used to refer
to any hypothetical, or unproven, alien spacecraft.
The term flying saucer is also sometimes used.
While I fed my dogs early in
the morning, I saw this object up in the sky
over the house across the street. My battery
went dead and I was unable to capture more
footage. I feed my dogs early in the morning
every day. That is why I taped this early.

Dailymail UK: UFO sightings
bring town to a standstill
Reports of unusual aerial phenomena date
back to ancient times, but reports of UFO
sightings started becoming more common after
the first widely publicized United States
sighting in 1947. Many tens of thousands of
UFO reports have since been made worldwide.
Many more sightings however, may remain unreported
due to fear of public ridicule because of
the social stigma surrounding the subject
of UFOs, and because most nations lack any
officially sanctioned authority to receive
and evaluate UFO reports.
Once a UFO is identified as a known object
(for example an aircraft or weather balloon,
clouds or meteor), it ceases to be classified
as a UFO and is reclassified as an identified
object.
June 24th, 1947, Kenneth Arnold, a federal
Marshall had a sighting over Mineral, Washington,
at 9,000 feet near Mt. Rainier of nine "skipping
discs" flying North to South
in which the story made international news
and in which media was to coin the term "flying
saucer".
Fate Magazines first issue
features and article by Kenneth Arnold "The
Truth about the Flying Saucers.
Arnold was to later write his 1952 book,
The Coming Of The Saucers, published with
Ray Palmer. :
Kenneth Arnold was an Eagle Scout, a field
representative for the American Red Cross,
an All-State Football player. He began selling
fire control equipment throughout the Northwest,
and was a member of an "aerial posse"
for the Ada County, Idaho, Sheriff. He was
also a relief Federal U.S. Marshall and occasionally
flew Federal prisoners to McNeil Island Federal
Penitentiary.
The UFO community worldwide has proclaimed
June 24th International UFO Research Day in
honor of Kenneth Arnold.
But are they real? This collection of videos
are not definitive proof that UFO's do exist.
Debunkers, skeptics and those that just don't
believe in such often say all UFO videos and
photographs or faked. I only ask that you
look at these video's and decide for yourself.
Or they out there!

H.P.I. (Haunted and Paranormal Investigations)
of Northern California will be on their very
first UFO investigation. The letters of HPI
stands for Haunted (as in ghosts, spirits,
demonic, poltergeist and residual hauntings)
and Paranormal (that means anything paranormal,
one day we may even investigate the Mothmen
or the Chupacabra activities in Puerto Rico).
Soon we will be branching out and be involved
in the Mt. Shasta UFO/Bigfoot Investigation.
UFO categorization
Some researchers recommend that observations
be classified according to the features of
the phenomenon or object that are reported
or recorded. Typical categories include:
Saucer, toy-top, or disk-shaped "craft"
without visible or audible propulsion.
Large triangular "craft" or triangular
light pattern
Cigar-shaped "craft" with lighted
windows (Meteor fireballs are sometimes reported
this way, but are very different phenomena).
Other: chevrons, equilateral triangles, spheres
(usually reported to be shining, glowing at
night), domes, diamonds, shapeless black masses,
eggs, and cylinders.
The United Kingdom's Ministry
Of Defence has announced that they plan to
release their UFO files to the public, 7 weeks
after France's space agency CNES opened its
UFO file to the public in March 22, 2007.
The ministry has not decided on which day
this event will occur, but confirmed that
it would be happening within the upcoming
weeks. The files will include UFO sightings
reported by civilians, pilots, and military
personnel dating back to 1967.
Some people, such as David Clarke, have expressed
their delight to the release of the files:
"The more of this stuff that they put
on their website or put in the national archives,
the less it will cost the taxpayer, because
at the moment people are writing in about
individual incidents and they are having respond."
Clarke is author of the book Flying Saucerers:
A Social History of UFOlogy and currently
a journalism lecturer at Sheffield Hallam
University.
The files will include the famous December
of 1980 Rendlesham Forest Incident, also called
Britain's Roswell after the Roswell UFO incident
that occurred in the United States in 1947.
French space agency CNES released
its UFO files to the public through its website
on Thursday. The 100,000 pages of witness
testimony, photographs, film footage and audiotapes
are an accumulation of more than 1,600 sightings
since 1954 and will include all future UFO
reports obtained by the agency.
Jacques Patenet, an aeronautical engineer
who is leading the study of the "non-identified
aerospatial phenomena," noted that the
release of the UFO files to the public was
"a world first," and that "the
data that we are releasing doesn't demonstrate
the presence of extraterrestrial beings. But
it doesn't demonstrate the impossibility of
such presence either. The questions remain
open."
Almost 25 percent of the cases have been
categorized as "type D", meaning
that "despite good or very good data
and credible witnesses, we are confronted
with something we can't explain," Jacques
explained.
CNES receives approximaely 50 to a 100 UFO
reports each year. 10 percent of these reports
are objects of on-site investigations.
Security was on hand at CNES headquarters
during the announcement "to screen out
uninvited UFOlogists."
The CNES website containing the UFO files
crashed all its host servers three hours after
it was brought online due to heavy traffic.
Other countries such as the United States
and the United Kingdom do have UFO files available,
but only release them through the Freedom
of Information Act (FOIA) on a case-by-case
basis.

IranEyewitnesses told the Fars News Agency
(FNA) that a radiant UFO had crashed in the
Barez Mounts of Kerman on Wednesday morning.
Abulghassem Nasrollahi, the Deputy General
of the Kerman province in Iran told the news
agency that all the aircraft in the area had
been accounted for, but did not rule out the
possibility that the object could be a meteor.
Another source also told the FNA that the
object was on fire with thick smoke coming
from it, and claimed that this implied the
object was not a meteor. However, meteors
appear as bright fireballs in the sky, as
they are heated to high temperatures due largely
to ram pressure as they fall at high speeds
through the Earth's atmosphere. Meteors often
burn up completely before reaching the ground
and some leave a smoke-like trail in their
wake.
Abulghassem noted that a few days earlier,
in Rafsanjan, a similar incident was reported
by witnesses.
